Kahraman and Defne have been happy together for many years, but one thing is missing in their life - a child. But even from this situation, the couple finds a way out - surrogacy.
Everything was going well, except that the girl Elif, who is carrying their child, constantly catches their eyes.
Defne has already begun to doubt the correctness of her decision, but the child is already there and will not go anywhere. It remains only to wait for the day of birth.
By chance, Defne finds out that she can never become a mother in any way. Then the question arises: Who is the mother of the child that Elif carries?
To sort out this issue, Defne tells Kahraman that she needs to go to work in Anapa, and in the meantime she goes to Cyprus, where she will find out the whole truth.
Upon his return, Kahraman, learning that his wife had not gone to Anapa, demanded an explanation. Then Defne told the truth, but not the whole story.
Defne admitted that she was at the clinic where the fertilization procedure took place. The doctor confirmed that she is the mother of this child.
Why did Defne lie?
I think everything is simple here. Defne was jealous of her husband for Elif and understood that if the truth was revealed, Kahraman would raise this child not with her, but with his real mother, and this should not be allowed.
Defne decided to get rid of Elif and the unborn child, but if she told Kahraman the truth, then later all suspicions would fall on Defne. And so, how can a mother do harm to her baby? I think this is just a cold calculation.
