Atmaja was not just the bodyguard of Shehzade Mustafa, but a friend and companion.
When the sovereign ordered Mustafa to appear in a military tent, Atmaja could not save the shehzade, but swore an oath that Rustem Pasha would pay for Mustafa's execution with his own life.
Atmaja would have kept this oath long ago, but he swore allegiance to Bayezid. Shehzade forbade Atmaja to touch Rustem Pasha, saying that he needed him for now, but after he sits on the throne, Rustem will pay in full.
But it was not destined to sit on the throne of Bayazid, and when the Shehzade realized this, he released Atmaja and gave permission to get even with Rustem.
Atmaja arrived in the capital and met with Mihrimah. The warrior did not hide the purpose of his visit from his mistress, and said that if she was against, then let him kill him right now.
Mihrimah had long dreamed of getting rid of her husband, but the sovereign would not allow to divorce him. Therefore, Mihrimah not only did not interfere with the warrior, but also helped him.

Rustem, seeing the enemy, fired at him, but Atmaja still managed to put a rope around the neck of the grand vizier, and with the words what kind of Mustafa he pulled the lace around his neck.
Exhausted, but with a sense of accomplishment, Atmaja tries to leave the palace, but a guard stands in his way. Atmaja is unable to fight, and for what? He paid his debt and fulfilled his oath.
Mihrimah orders to clear the palace of the killed guards, and tells everyone that Rustem left this world from dropsy.
