While Suleiman was fighting for his life, the people and the janissaries panicked: was their master still alive?

To dispel the doubts of the Janissaries, Shehzade Selim goes to talk to them. But the janissaries, despite the fact that Selim at that time was the regent of the state, did not accept his words seriously, considering that they were misleading to put one of the sons on the throne Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska.

The commander-in-chief of the Janissary Ferhat - aha said that Shehzade Mustafa will sit on the throne after the sovereign according to the law.

Of course, Selim was hurt by these words, and he decided to put Ferhat - yeah, in his place. But the janissaries are not afraid of anyone, and drawing their swords, they went to the Shehzade of Selim.
Selim was saved by the unexpected appearance of Mustafa, at the sight of which the janissaries obediently bowed their heads.

Of course, Mustafa scolded the Janissary and threatened that for such actions, the head would fly off the guilty's shoulders. But when shehzade left the corps, the janissaries began to praise him:

- Hello Mustafa!

This event greatly alarmed Selim. He understood that it was Mustafa who was closest to the throne, and as soon as Suleiman came to his senses, he hurried to tell his father about the incident in the Janissary corps.

Mihrimah and Khyurrem - the sultan also did not stand aside and told about the love of the people for Mustafa's shehzade:

- The people in the squares shouted: Hello Sultan Mustafa, we will give our lives for him.
Of course, Mustafa is not to blame for this, but he should not have been humbly silent. Nobody has the right, while you are alive, to call shehzade a sultan, - said Hurrem.

Suleiman, learning about what had happened, went to the Janissary corps.

Without giving an explanation to the Janissaries, Suleiman grabbed Mustafa's sword and blew off Ferhat-age's head, saying that he would not allow anyone to dishonor the Ottoman dynasty.

Mustafa saved Selim from the wrath of the Janissaries, and in gratitude for this he brought down the wrath of the sovereign "on his head".
