Is Khyurrem to blame for the death of the younger Suleiman? Personal opinion

The series "The Magnificent Century" is staged very beautifully. Life in a harem is chic, interesting, but at the same time not easy, dangerous and cruel. Love, intrigue, illness, executions - everything is collected in one film in which the strongest survives.

One of the characters in the series is Fatma - Khatun, who by hook or by hook entered the chambers of the senior Shahzade Mustafa and later gave birth to his son.

For Sultan Suleiman, this was the first grandson whom he named after himself - Suleiman.

After the birth of her son, Fatma devoted all of herself to his upbringing, but still could not save the younger Suleiman. He contracted smallpox. In those days, smallpox was practically not amenable to treatment, and the chances of saving the little shahzadeh were negligible. And so it happened - the son of Fatma and Mustafa was not saved.

Mustafa, in a conversation with Makhidevran, wondered where the child could have caught this infection, because everyone in the palace was healthy.

Then Mustafa suggested that Suleiman was intentionally infected, and this was the work of Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska. Indeed, quite recently, a servant was caught in their palace who attempted to kill the future heir to the throne, and it was Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska who sent her.

Of course, Mustafa did not succeed in proving anything, but doubts firmly settled in his head. Is it really? It is not known for certain neither in the film, nor in history, one can only guess.

I am convinced that Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska has nothing to do with the death of the boy. Despite all her intrigues, she herself is a mother and I think she is not capable of ruining a small life.
