In fact, this is not some kind of evil omen, and if a couple get married on one of the May days, they will be cursed by the Almighty forces. It's like with salt, which was expensive before, and spilling it became a big problem for a person.
So it is with the month of May. In Russia, before weddings were celebrated not 1-2 days, but from three to seven! Namely, May was aimed at caring for the new harvest, and not at parties. Therefore, if young people get married in May, it means that they are wasting their time, which means that in winter they will live from hand to mouth. The perfect month for a wedding
February
This month is considered the most ideal. They say that the marriage will be as strong as the frost on the day of the wedding, and just as strongly the young will love each other. February and in the old days was called the wedding month. In particular, it was recommended to arrange a celebration on Shrovetide, supposedly the young will live like "rolling in oil". An unlucky day is Valentine's Day, because for Orthodox Christians this is the eve of the Meeting of the Lord, and it is not recommended to arrange festive feasts. What I think: regarding the church holiday, I agree, the weather is usually good on Shrovetide, and there is snow around, which is very beautiful for photo shoots. And, as for the severe frosts, even beauty will not save here, the cold is not very suitable for such a holiday.
April
April promises a couple who will marry this month a life that is bright, passionate and not boring, like a roller coaster. The marriage will be strong, but there will also be an aura of impermanence, like the weather in April. But, if the newlyweds pay more attention to their feelings, their love will last for life. What I think: the spring months are warm, beautiful, the sun warms up. As for the photo sessions in April, you can't guess, first the snow that did not melt to the end, then the first greens - who, how lucky.
June
A wedding in June heralds prosperity. In a couple, some tension in the relationship is possible, but over the years their union becomes strong and happy. I personally heard from many couples who got married in the first month of summer that over the years their relationship has become much better, and that they simply cannot live without each other. What I think: ideal, there is a lot of greenery around, very nice and warm.
August
The month of August brings strong and great love to young people! The couple will remember their first meetings, dates and declarations of love all their lives. They are advised to record life events in family albums as often as possible. What I think: of course, yes, August is warm, beautiful, lots of goodies!
September
Most weddings in Russia took place in September. At this time, the harvest was already harvested, and the field work was almost over. Therefore, one could walk for at least a week. The marriage entered into this month promises a calm family life, fidelity and constancy. What I think: the weather is still warm, especially in the "Indian summer", beautiful nature, changing from shades of green to yellow, and in terms of goodies - there are many products available.
October
A wedding in October promises wealth to the young, however, to achieve them, you will have to work hard. The couple will treat each other with trepidation and care, which will make their marriage strong and secure. What I think: of course, in terms of the weather, the issue is controversial, but in terms of beauty - that's it!
November
And here's a good month in terms of religion. Usually in Russia, weddings were played in September, and then after the Intercession and until the very end of November. The only days that were unlucky for the wedding were from November 28th. Because during this period, the Nativity Fast began, and it was impossible to get married in a church. What I think: no, just not November, ugly nature and awful cold.
In fact, I think if real feelings flared up between two people, then they absolutely don't care which month they get married. Love and appreciate each other, but beliefs and omens are a secondary matter!
