I offer you an amazing recipe for a very simple dish originally from Ukraine. It is called benderiki, and for those who hate to fry pancakes, I recommend preparing a simplified version with lavash. In this article I will tell you both options, and it's up to you to decide what is easier and tastier for you.

An appetizer in pita bread in a frying pan - what could be better and easier. This dish is perfect for both a snack and a dinner table, and will even become a favorite of the holiday. And, if you like to modify recipes, then you can always come up with something with a filling. There are no special rules, but you can wrap anything you like in lavash!

About benderics

As I said, this dish comes from Ukraine, and according to the classics of the genre, you need to fry thin pancakes, in which the filling is already wrapped. But, if you are not on friendly terms with making pancakes, do not be discouraged, lavash will help you out very much. Therefore, carefully read the recipe, and go ahead, bring the culinary masterpiece to life!

Lazy Benderik recipe

Composition:

  • minced pork - 400 grams;
  • onion - 1 piece;
  • lavash - 3 sheets;
  • eggs - 3 pieces;
  • milk - 70 milliliters;
  • salt - ½ teaspoon.

How to cook:

Chop the onion and fry it in vegetable oil. Then stir it into the minced meat. By the way, you can use any minced meat, it just tastes better with pork, but this is an amateur business! Of course, it's better if you wind the minced meat yourself, otherwise it sometimes lies in stores for a long time, and it is not known what is added there at all. Do not forget to add salt to the minced meat, you can also add a little ground pepper and chopped herbs. Also pour in milk, and knead a smooth juicy filling. If you are still in favor of experimenting, then you can come up with another filling. For example, with sausage, tomatoes, cheese, cottage cheese, etc.

After preparing the filling, you need to cut the pita bread into long wide strips. Do not add too much filling, otherwise you will not wrap up later. Benderiki are ready, it remains only to fry them. To do this, beat the eggs in a bowl, dip each benderik in the eggs, and place in a frying pan with heated oil. You need to cook the dish over low heat, frying it on both sides. Lazy benderiks can be eaten just like that with sour cream, with herbs, or you can serve, for example, with Ukrainian borscht. It turns out very tasty.

Well, and for those hostesses who are not accustomed to being lazy and looking for simple options, I will also tell you how to make ordinary benderiki with pancakes.

Recipe for classic benderik:

  • minced pork - 400 grams;
  • onion - 1 piece;
  • lavash - 3 sheets;
  • eggs - 6 pieces;
  • milk - 270 milliliters;
  • garlic - 1 clove;
  • flour - 6 teaspoons;
  • sugar - 1 teaspoon;
  • vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons;
  • salt and pepper - ½ teaspoon each.

How to cook:

The preparation is almost the same, but there is a difference. So, add a finely chopped onion, chopped garlic and 2 eggs to the minced meat, salt and pepper. And all the components must either be twisted in a blender or through a meat grinder twice. After that, set the minced meat aside, let it stand and “marinate” for 20-30 minutes.

At this time, we make pancakes. Separate the whites from the yolks from two eggs. Beat the whites well, then add yolks, milk, flour, sugar, salt and vegetable oil to them. Knead the dough.

Fry the pancakes and let cool slightly. Spoon the minced meat, spread about ¼ part of the pancake, and wrap in a triangle. So wrap all the pancakes. Beat the remaining 2 eggs with salt, dip the pancakes in the mixture and fry on both sides over low heat until golden brown!
