Cherries can be used both fresh and frozen, naturally pitted! If yours is frozen, then you need to defrost it, and drain the released liquid from it.

Sour cream can be used with absolutely any fat content, this does not play a special role in cooking.

It is better to cover the form or baking sheet with parchment. This way the cake won't burn. Well, in principle, you can use foil as well.

Now let's get down to the recipe!

You will need:

  • butter - 100 grams;
  • sour cream - 150 grams;
  • eggs - 3 pieces;
  • salt - a couple of pinches;
  • sugar - 110 grams;
  • flour - 200 grams;
  • baking powder - 1.5 teaspoons;
  • pitted cherries - 200 grams.

Preparation:

So, take all the food out of the refrigerator and leave it right on the kitchen counter for 30 minutes. It is also worth defrosting the cherry in advance, if necessary. If your berry is fresh, then you need to remove the seeds from it. I got the hang of doing it with a regular hairpin.

Let's take a dough! Break eggs into a deep bowl, add sugar, salt, if desired, vanillin and butter. Whisk everything well. Doing it with your hands is long and difficult, so you need a blender. Beat all the products for two to three minutes, the mass should become bubbly and fluffy, and the sugar should all dissolve.

Now you can add sour cream, and then beat the products again until smooth.

The flour must be sifted, mixed with baking powder and gradually added to the batter. With a mixer, bring the dough all the time until smooth. It will turn out to be watery.

Turn on the oven, let it heat up to 200 degrees. It is very convenient to make a cake in a removable baking dish, I have a diameter of 23 cm. You can simply grease it with unscented sunflower oil and pour the dough into it.

As I said, the cherries should be free of liquid, so it is better to hold them in a colander for a while, and all the cherry juice will drain. Only not in the sink, but in a plate, because this yummy can then be added somewhere. The berries need to be laid out in a chaotic manner on top of the dough, and pressed in a little.

It takes about 30-40 minutes to bake the cherry pie. Readiness is checked with a wooden skewer or toothpick.

When the cake is baked, you need to take it out and let it cool right in the baking dish. And then you can already serve it for tea. If desired, cut the pie straight into pieces, garnish with powdered sugar and mint, and you can treat! You can also, for example, pour cherry jam, melted chocolate, garnish with whipped cream, or make sour cream!
