During fasting, people cleanse themselves of negativity through eating restrictions. Lent is the most difficult because there are a lot of prohibited food items. Not everyone can stand it. But, fortunately, there is an opportunity to eat varied and satisfying. After all, a severe hunger strike can greatly undermine health. I offer you a menu for every day especially for fasting days!

Lent is also difficult because it is long enough. This year it started on March 2nd and will end only on April 18th!

Dishes for Lent

Potato cutlets

You will need:

  • potatoes - 6 pcs.;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • flour - 2-3 tbsp. l .;
  • salt, pepper - to taste;
  • vegetable oil.

How to cook:

Boil the potatoes and make mashed potatoes. Add the fried onion and all the spices and stir. Shape the patties and fry them in a skillet.

Mushroom rolls

You will need:

  • water - 120 ml;
  • flour - 150 g;
  • porcini mushrooms - 200 g;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • tomato paste - 2 tbsp l .;
  • salt, dill - to taste;
  • vegetable oil.

How to cook:

Make a dough out of water and flour, and set aside, let it stand for 30 minutes. Fry mushrooms, carrots and onions together, put on a plate - let the frying cool down. Roll out the dough, lay out the filling, roll into a roll. Cut it into pieces, place in a saucepan, cover with tomato paste and water. Cook over low heat for 20 minutes.

Oat cookies

Required products:

  • oatmeal - 1.5 tbsp.;
  • bananas;
  • honey - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • walnuts - ½ tbsp.;
  • ground cinnamon - 0.5 tsp l .;
  • soda - 0.5 tsp l .;
  • lemon juice - 1 tsp l.

Preparation:

Grind the flakes into flour using a coffee grinder or blender, add honey and lemon juice, as well as crushed bananas and chopped nuts. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix everything well. You can add a little steamed raisins. With damp hands or a wet spoon, spread a small amount of "dough" on a baking sheet lined with parchment. You need to bake cookies for half an hour at a temperature of 180 degrees.

Borsch with sprat

You will need:

  • sprat in tomato - 1 can;
  • potatoes - 4 pcs.;
  • cabbage - 1/3 head of cabbage;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • tomato paste - 2 tbsp l .;
  • salt, pepper - to taste;
  • lavrushka - 2 pcs.;
  • water - 2 l.

Preparation:

Peel and wash all vegetables immediately. Cut the potatoes into cubes, chop the onion at random, chop the cabbage finely, grate the carrots. Pour water into a saucepan, throw lavrushka, place on fire. When the water boils, add the potatoes, after 7 minutes the cabbage. While everything is cooking, you need to fry the carrots and onions in vegetable oil, until soft, adding tomato paste to them. Add roast and sprat to the water, and cook the borscht until the cabbage is cooked. Don't forget to salt and pepper!

Buckwheat meatballs with champignons

You will need:

  • buckwheat - 200 g;
  • mushrooms - 100 g;
  • tomato. pasta - 4 tbsp. l .;
  • flour - 4 tbsp. l .;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • greens, pepper, salt - to taste;
  • vegetable oil.

How to cook:

Boil buckwheat, chop the onion and mushrooms, and fry everything in a little vegetable oil. After that, pass everything through a meat grinder, and mix with flour, herbs, spices. Form the meatballs, roll in flour and sauté in oil. Ready meatballs need to be poured with tomato paste diluted in water, and simmer for 5 minutes over low heat.
