A recipe from which you can deviate in terms of the choice of ingredients. This is what I was looking for for so long and now, I found it. I have made chicken breast many times before, but it turned out to be dry and tasteless. After trying this cooking method, my family and I were delighted. Most importantly, such a chicken never gets bored. After all, it can be done with mushrooms, turnips, dried apricots, apples, cheese, pineapples, nuts, zucchini, potatoes, cottage cheese.
There is only one method, but there are many options. You don't even need to invent anything, the main thing is that there is a chicken breast and something else in the refrigerator.
The selected filling creates a unique taste and aroma. Therefore, the chicken turns out to be different.
Now we are going to cook breast fillet with tomatoes and cheese.
For the meat to acquire additional juiciness, it is better to cook it wrapped in baking paper. if you don't like paper for some reason, you can replace it with foil. In the end, we will get a dish that looks quite attractive and it is not a shame to serve it even to the festive table.
The recipe is given for two servings. The ingredients are prepared very quickly, it only takes five to six minutes. Cooking time is half an hour.
For the dish you will need:
- two pieces of chicken breast;
- 1 large ripe tomato
- 50-100 grams of grated cheese (you can take any, but hard varieties are much easier to grate);
- one tablespoon of refined vegetable oil (odorless);
- slightly less than a teaspoon of sweet ground paprika;
- dried oregano on the tip of a knife;
- ground black pepper to taste;
- salt.
How to do:
1. Breast fillets can be bought ready-made, or you can cut off the chicken carcass yourself. By the way, it is much easier to do this if the chicken is slightly frozen. Then the meat does not creep to the side and it can be cut off as you need it.
Rinse the pieces and remove from them everything that you do not like (films, veins, skin);
2. Sprinkle salt on all sides and rub it lightly into the piece. Do the same with oil, pepper, paprika. It is worth noting that you can also take any spices. That is, if you do not like paprika, then you do not need to torment yourself, put it aside and take what is more to your taste, but at least dill.
3. Cut the tomato into slices.
4. Get a decent piece of foil or baking paper. For one fillet, one large piece. That is, we will need to tear off two of them.
We put the semi-finished product in the middle and make a couple of deep cuts in it.
5. We put the tomato in them alternately with the cheese (we put the cheese in the cuts). All this a hedgehog protrudes over the poultry meat. But when we start baking, the tomatoes will soften and sink, and the cheese will melt. And the ingredients will cover the fillet piece in an even layer.
6. We wrap the structure in paper or foil according to the boat principle.
7. We put in a well preheated oven and bake for half an hour.
As soon as the cheese has melted, but not yet browned, sprinkle the dish with oregano. Why do I advise you to do this: from the heat of the hot cheese, the grass will begin to exude its natural aroma. If you sprinkle it on the chicken before placing it in the oven, the seasoning will simply burn. The taste can fade away at best or acquire a bitter aftertaste.
The finished fillet can be taken out of the “boats”, or you can put it on a plate right in them. Fillet is served with a garnish of vegetables and rice. Or simply with salad and crispy freshly baked bread.
