Surely everyone knows that if you want to get an excellent harvest, you need to feed your plants. Everyone knows something, but many ignore this rule, referring to the fact that their land is good. Regardless of what kind of soil you have in your garden, you need to fertilize according to the schedule and according to the culture. After all, we all and always want to get a gorgeous harvest.

So, nutrition for cucumbers is necessary in the same way as watering!

Sometimes gardeners stop fertilizing plants from the moment they begin to bear fruit. But this is a fatal mistake. After all, the time has come when the bush needs help more than ever. He needs a lot of nutrients and he can not always take them from the soil. Take good care of your cucumbers. Of course, now, when the cucumbers are ripe with might and main, it would be better to refuse any chemical powders. This leads to the accumulation of nitrates in the fruit. But using folk remedies will not hurt anyone. They won't be able to harm, but they will lead you to a great harvest.

Now I want to tell you how and with what I feed my cucumbers after the ovaries have appeared.

I use yeast

With such a top dressing, you can and should fertilize the beds after the first harvest. At this time, the bush needs to accumulate strength for a new dash.

To prepare the nutrient solution, I use fresh (not powdered) yeast. They only need 10 g. for 5 liters of water. I try to use warm (room temperature) and at least 24 hours. I put sugar there, exactly 5 tablespoons without a slide. Now you need to mix everything very well until smooth.

For a day, the liquid must be placed in a warm and dark place. If there is a problem with a dark place, then at least move the container out of direct sunlight.

After a day, mix the dressing and leave for another two days.

This is the base for fertilization. Before using it on the beds, be sure to dilute the resulting solution in water, in proportions of 0.5 liters of liquid per one ten-liter bucket (I have a ten-liter one). Under each bush, I pour a jar or ladle for half a liter.

I use ash

This is a wonderful organic fertilizer, proven by time and ancestors. It has already become a classic for gardeners and gardeners. I feed cucumbers with ash 5-6 times a season.

And at the same time I certainly add this fertilizer when the bush begins to bear fruit. By the way, ash can be poured under a dry bush. And you can make a solution and thus facilitate the work of the cucumber root system.

I rarely use the first method. Therefore, we will focus on the second.

To prepare an ash solution, you need to stir 10 full tablespoons of ash in a five-liter water. Now just leave the resulting mixture for a week, let it infuse. This suspension must be stirred every day.

The solution is very simple to use. Pour about half a liter of liquid under the bush.

I use chicken droppings

Very good fertilizer. It contains all the essential substances. Here you have phosphorus, nitrogen, zinc, copper and so on. Chicken droppings need to be insisted.

Fill an ordinary ten-liter bucket less than half of this fertilizer and pour water to the edge of the bucket. such a liquid should be left in the dark for two days. The finished dressing cannot be used in its pure form. Dilute it with water in a ratio of 1 liter of infusion and 3 liters of water.

Watering is necessary at the rate of 1.5 liters of mixture per 1 sq. meter of land with cucumbers.

Thus, you can grow wonderful cucumbers that will not taste bitter.
