Marrying, we believe that this once and for all life. As the saying goes, and in sorrow and in joy. But unfortunately, the statistics say that about 40% of marriages break up in Ukraine. And most often it occurs in the first years of married life - from 3 months to one and a half to two years after the marriage.
Is it possible to assess the how big are the chances of the couple to be together and join the ranks of happy families, and what harbingers of imminent divorce ?
It is this question set by British scientists. They assessed the statistical data of more than 2000 men and women of different ages and social status, we conducted a public opinion poll. And to identify some patterns. For example, as it turned out, about a quarter of respondents believe that their future spouse should be no more than four pre-marital partners. A majority of men are much more important in the future wife love good sex than her intellect.
Given the statistics, scientists have deduced a formula of love:
8 + 5Y - 2P + 9X + 3M + J - 3G - 5 (SM-SF) + I + 1,5C = L
- Where: Y - how many years before the start of a serious relationship you may know each other;
- P - how major / important partners was before you both;
- X - point scale (from 1 "not at all important" and 5 "very, very important") appreciate the importance that the man gives the honesty in a relationship;
- F - point scale, evaluate the importance that women attach money in a relationship;
- J - point scale, which is given to humor each of you (in total);
- G - point scale, which is given to the visual attractiveness (in total);
- SM and SF - point scale how important male (M) and female (F) attached to sex;
- I - point scale the importance attached to good relations with family members (in total);
- C - point scale, which is given to children (in total);
- L - the length of a possible relationship in years.
It remains to substitute performance of its pairs and find out how big a chance to note with their golden wedding. But remember that even if you do not answer please, this is not a sentence. Marital happiness is up to you, the desire to be together, and the ability to compromise. I wish you happiness, love and harmony!
