First-graders and mobile telephones
Once we were envious classmates who had a simple pencil «Koh-i-noor», imported pencil case and school uniforms, brought from Moscow or Leningrad. You know at least one first-grader who goes to school without mobile telephones? In some it is more modest, others more expensive, but there is absolutely everybody. Say that this is a safety feature, they say, parents can always call and find out what a child? I beg of you, and how to deal with the fact that every first-grader at school after school waiting for the adults? Those who are poorer - grandparents, those who are richer - babysitting and personal driver. Children of the first and second classes do not go in principle home themselves.
Then I repeat the question - why the child in the first class mobile phone? Logical answer does not exist, but we know perfectly well that if half of the class, this "toy" already appeared, then the second half is simply doomed to such a purchase in order to avoid the endless tears and conflicts.
During my many years of experience of walking on the parent-teacher meetings trying to deal with mobile phones in different ways. An attempt was made to strictly forbid the use of gamers on the school grounds. Then there was an attempt to officially at the school director level, banned from including mobile phone to the end of the last lesson. They say, came from school - took out and brag, but you came here to learn. Supporters of school uniforms, there are two main arguments - the smoothing of social inequality and a tidy appearance of students. Opponents believe that school uniforms puts an end to children's individuality. They say that not only do all dressed the same, so also is ugly and impractical.
