A new study shows that cleaning teeth at least three times a day reduces the risk of heart failure by 10% immediately.

This is the conclusion reached by researchers of the University of Seoul (South Korea).

During the experiment, she tried to find a connection between oral health and risk of atrial fibrillation. They assessed the health of 160,000 people aged 40 to 79 years, using the data of the Korean national health insurance system (It contains information about the diseases of every citizen, as well as its weight, height, particular way of life, including the habits of hygiene teeth).

During follow-up from 3% experiment participants observed atrial fibrillation, and another 5% were diagnosed heart failure. At the same time found a link with the habits to adhere to oral hygiene.
