Coronavirus pneumonia hits the lower lungs. It is there that the maximum number of alveoli is located, which are responsible for gas exchange. Therefore, respiratory failure occurs. To prevent congestion in the peripheral parts of the lungs, breathing exercises will help. They improve ventilation in the lower parts of the lungs, strengthen the respiratory muscles. This gymnastics can be done from the first day of illness. Contraindications for exercise are high fever and blood pressure.
Exercise should be done slowly, inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth. Exercise several times a day, increasing the load to 8-10 repetitions.
Lung Exercises
1. Bend your knees. Place your left hand on your stomach, and your right hand on your chest. Breathe in through your nose as if with your belly, and exhale through your mouth. The ribcage should remain motionless.

4. Lying on back bend your knees. Place your hands on your hips. Inhale and stretch your hands to your knees. Exhale. One is a deep breath. Two - press the knee to the chest and exhale. Three is the starting position.

5. Get on all fours. Once - inhale, round the back. Two - exhale, bend your back in the opposite direction.

1. Lean on the back of a chair. Once - inhale, turn to the left, stretch your chin to the shoulder. Two - exhale, starting position.
