How did gingerbread houses
The story of this baking is very unusual. And you know why? Because most of us think that gingerbread houses invented for the first time back in the XIX century, when it was published by the Brothers Grimm fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel." And, though it has since taken root in many families, this is a good tradition - oven gingerbread houses for Christmas. But in fact - it was the second birth of gingerbread houses.
They first appeared in ancient Rome, where the inhabitants of houses of baked dough and decorated the home altar. And then we ate the whole family. But all this is far from a story, of course, you need to tell the kids together with the tale "Genezel and Gretel" during the joint preparation of a gingerbread house.

Cooking dough

Cooking method: spices mixed in a mortar and triturated in a fine powder. All the ingredients for the dough (including, and spices) were combined in a separate bowl. Mix with a spoon.
