Children under one year: the norms of growth and weight gain (Table)

Many parents from the moment of birth of a baby I wonder if their child is developing properly, how it differs from his peers.

To answer these questions, just look at the growth of the child table to a year. But before you do that, remember some of the nuances:

• usually in boys at birth, height and weight (3200-3500 g and 49-52 cm) is somewhat larger than in girls (3000-3300 g and 48-50 cm). But this, of course, conditional figures;

• every kid lives on its own program: the table only shows only the upper and lower limit weight gain and growth for the full-term baby in the first year of life;

• if the height and weight of the child does not fit into the average statistical data, that is no reason to raise a panic. In good health and absence of abnormalities in the baby's health as a large and light weight can be considered normal for the baby.

And remember: if you notice deviations in the development of the baby (in height or weight) should refer to the pediatrician, have you observed. Only a doctor will be able to answer the question whether everything is okay with your child.
