Probably all of us have heard of lacto-and bifidobacteria contained in yogurt. It is they who bear the huge benefits the digestive system of our body. But is there the beneficial bacteria in yogurt store?
Scientists say the EU consumer organizations - industrial yogurts do not benefit the body. During the experiment, they tested about 180 yogurt ingredients. Ten of the most popular supplements, scientists announced useless. On the basis of the research, many companies have banned to claim produced dairy desserts as preventive and especially as therapeutic.

Recently publishing BMJ Open published the results of research scientists from the Universities of Leeds and Surrey. For the experiment, they took yogurt from 921 stores in Britain and examined their structure. In 90% of desserts sugar much higher than the norms accepted in the EU. In Ukraine, an independent examination showed that one serving of store yogurt contains three teaspoons of sugar, while the package manufacturer specifies 10 g sugar per 100 g of finished product, is 40% more of said digits. According to the technical regulations of divergence are acceptable, but not more than 15%.
Therefore, nutritionists, doctors do not recommend to use this product for people who are watching their diet, and particularly those suffering from diabetes.
