Moral forces: how to replenish them, how to save them

Probably, many people had such a thought in their heads: “There is not enough strength for absolutely nothing.” At the same time, the person seems to be strong, doing something, but morally, as if exhausted. There is no kind of fuel to move on, to decide something. Both motivation and desire disappear. Our forces can end, or they can be replenished anew. But where can they disappear to?

Of course, the loss of moral strength can also be at a young age, when a person has gone through some difficult period, experienced a terrible shock. But more often than not, the further, the more difficult. That is really a matter of age! Together with the years we have lived, we receive knowledge, experience, memories, etc. And just with age, strength runs out, both in ourselves and in those people who are next to us. Because of this, it becomes so difficult to find a common language with their loved ones and relatives. We increasingly criticize them, offend, argue with them. And it is already so difficult for us to do something pleasant for them, there is no strength for this, no desire, no motivation ...

Moral forces: how to replenish them, how to save them

The meaning of life of every person is in the struggle. We fight daily. We work, we communicate with people, we solve some cases. And this requires a lot of energy, and a lot of strength. What do we get as a result? Whether we're doing the right thing at all, we don't know. Even within us there is a constant struggle, it eats up our time and, again, all our strength and energy. While we are looking for a way out of some problems, we get tired, while we think who owes something to whom and owes something, we get tired again.

In particular, a person spends a lot of energy on anxiety, on fear, on experiences that most often arise from scratch. But we can't just get rid of them. We cannot protect ourselves from all this. We can worry about our parents, children, spouses, friends. We are catching up with negative thoughts in our heads more and more, slowly bringing ourselves to nervous exhaustion. Yes, fear is our defense, but still, when it is constantly experienced, it is already quite harmful.

How to maintain moral strength?

First, you need to minimize communication with those people who are used to complaining about their lives, about other people, about their lives. Why do you need someone else's negativity if you yourself are no longer able to cope with negative thoughts?

Secondly, do not turn yourself into an eternally aching victim. Otherwise, you can catch moral exhaustion and get a depressive state.

Thirdly, just try to enjoy the little things, enjoy what you have, what you have achieved, what you have come to. Look for something that will really please only you, look for positive in work, in dealing with good kind people, look for inspiration, for example, in art!

But what if you are already mentally exhausted, if you are tired, you do not have the strength to do something?

Here's how you can replenish your moral strength

Try to ask yourself throughout the day: will your thoughts or actions fill you with energy and strength, or, on the contrary, deprive you of everything?

Concentrate on those little things that make you happy, that cheer you up, fill you with strength. It is they who need to pay as much of their attention as possible, it is on them that you need to spend more of your energy.

Get out in nature more often. Plants and fresh air fill with vitality and replenish energy reserves.

Try to avoid situations that drain your energy. These are conflicts, misunderstandings, or maybe situations when you need to be close to people that are unpleasant for you.

Everything is solvable if you try a little!
