Many anecdotes have been invented about the relationship of mother-in-law with son-in-law and mother-in-law with daughter-in-law. Most often, some kind of aggressive behavior, nit-picking, greed, reproaches from the older generation are ridiculed. However, the opposite also happens. Here Tamara would be glad to be friends with the wife of her son Artem, but everything is very difficult there.
Masha appeared in Tamara and Artyom's apartment last year. Before that, the young people met for about a month, then they decided to move in together, and Tamara herself offered to live with her. Before, she had heard about Masha only from her son, she had never seen her in the eyes, and she never thought or said anything bad about the girl.
Masha, as soon as she settled in her fiancé's apartment, began to behave very arrogantly. She turned out to be a rather complicated person, spoiled, and, it seems, not able to do anything at all. But Artyom, like a ram, indulged her whims, carried her in his arms, blew off dust particles. So while the groom was at work, Masha could generally lie around all day, occasionally crawling out into the kitchen, talking a lot on the phone, listening to music. And she smoked right in the apartment.
No, Tamara did not make any remarks to her, she respected her son's choice, and told herself that the girl was just a new person for her, and she needed to get used to it. So they lived, Tamara cooked, washed, cleaned, Masha had nothing to do with the household.
Then her old friend invited Tamara to the anniversary. Not far, but still to another city. Therefore, Tamara decided to stay with the hero of the day for a week, which she informed the children on the same day. And the next day I got on the bus and went on my journey. But when Tamara returned, she simply did not recognize her apartment. What happened there in her absence is simply incomprehensible. Everything is smoky, the stench is such that you want to cry. A mountain of dirty things, rubbish all around, unwashed dishes in the sink. And for some reason, the furniture is all moved.
There was a feeling as if thieves had visited the apartment. Masha goggled her frightened eyes at her mother-in-law when she made a remark to her, but said nothing. After that, the women put everything in its place, and Tamara took up cleaning. In the evening, a scandal broke out only between Tamara and Artem. Masha complained to him about her mother, and he decided to act like a gentleman, stood up for his lady of the heart. Only now he did not believe his mother, and he said a lot of insulting words.
Tamara remained silent, swallowing her resentment. She continued to cook, clean, buy groceries, and Masha did some of her own business in the room, and continued to smoke the apartment. Once Tamara could not stand it, and made a remark to Masha, trying to involve her in household chores, and she again complained to Artyom. The man got very angry and said they were leaving. But Tamara was well aware that young people could not afford rented housing, so she went to reconciliation.
So another two months passed. Tamara has already got used to her incomprehensible role of a servant. And one day she accidentally heard Masha talking on the phone:
