Nature shared beauty with these celebrities. Trying to save her, they went to the fight against time with the help of plastic surgery. But they lost this war. The plastic surgery failed. Photos before and after

They have everything: fame, money and eternal youth. More precisely, the opportunity to preserve this very youth. Rich and famous women work with the world's leading plastic surgeons and, it would seem, are insured against mistakes. But fatal “punctures” still happen: even stars become victims of aesthetic medicine. The other day, for the first time after six years of suffering, the supermodel of the 90s, Linda Evangelista, spoke about her unsuccessful plastic surgery. After the fat removal surgery, Linda developed a complication that occurs in less than 1% of cases. Unfortunately, this complication is irreversible, and nothing can be done about it.

We decided to recall the most unfortunate plastic "experience" of celebrities, which changed them beyond recognition. Not to gloat, but to once again remind women that any intervention in the body can have an unpredictable result.

Linda Evagnelista

The most famous model of the 90s, the face of dozens of world brands and the heroine of the covers of hundreds of magazines - Linda Evanelista disfigured herself with an operation on removal of excess fat. Six years ago, the star turned to the clinic to undergo the CoolSculpting procedure: this is fat burning under the influence of cold, or, as it is also called, cryolipolysis. After the procedure, Linda developed a complication - paradoxical fatty hyperplasia. The fat that was supposed to “leave”, on the contrary, hardened and firmly fixed under the skin.

This complication after the procedure develops in less than 1% of cases, and no one told Linda about it. Because of this, the model at first did not go to the doctors, but looked for the causes of the problem in herself. She almost stopped eating, but the hardened fat deposits did not disappear anywhere, but became even more. The model herself recalls that she almost went crazy from the terrible changes in her body. Unfortunately, it is impossible to correct the situation: after cryoliposis, Linda underwent two more operations, but they did not help. In her recent interview with People magazine (the first after six years of seclusion), the model admitted that this experiment not only changed her posture, gait and figure, but also destroyed her, as personality.

Meg Ryan

In her youth, Meg Ryan was called one of the sexiest stars in Hollywood. Therefore, already at the age of 35, the actress began to struggle with the first signs of withering in every possible way. She was the first to “put” her lips under the surgeon’s knife: it is known that with age they lose volume, and in order to to fix, Meg installed silicone implants in them (which, however, she later got rid of). Then followed botox injections and fillers in the nasolabial folds, a facelift, rhinoplasty (Meg reduced the tip of her nose) and blepharoplasty (the actress turned up the lowered corners of her eyes).

Until 2016, every appearance of Meg in public caused a storm of discussion. The tabloid press vied with each other to guess which operation she had performed this time. On the motionless face of the star with a complete lack of facial expressions and swelling from recent injections, one could "read" the entire range of aesthetic medicine services. Only in the last few years, the actress finally changed her mind and admitted that she was able to love her age. At 60, she looks much more beautiful and "alive" than ten years ago.

Demmy Moor

Sultry beauty Demi Moore never shunned plastic surgery. She made the first of them at the age of 16 - however, for medical reasons. Demi had a strabismus, and for the sake of her acting career, she decided to lie on the operating table. And then, as they say, let's go. The actress underwent rhinoplasty (narrowed the tip of her nose), changed the size and shape of her breasts several times, repeatedly had liposuction, and even “rejuvenated” her knees (with hyaluron injections).

After 40 years, Demi began to focus on surgical face-building. She removed Bish's lumps (fat deposits that form the cheeks), which made her face look thinner and longer. To prevent wrinkles, the star regularly injects Botox and does braces. But overall it looks pretty natural. More precisely, it looked until recently. Last year, Demi walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week with completely futuristic cheekbones. It seems that her face was completely “redrawn” and giant implants were inserted there. Fans called it Moore's worst experiment with her appearance. It remains to be hoped that these changes are reversible.

Donatella Versace

The most influential woman in the fashion world, talented and purposeful Donatella Versace suffered from many complexes about her appearance since childhood. True, she did not begin to change herself immediately, but after she headed the Versace fashion house. One of Donatella's iconic phrases: "until you look like a million, you won't earn two." Her investment in her appearance, according to the most conservative estimates, amounted to 5 million dollars. Euro. But this money did not make the fashion designer look like the models she dresses.

The first changes in Donatella's appearance became noticeable in 2003: she narrowed her naturally wide nose, lifted her face, removed the overhang of her upper eyelid and sharpened her cheekbones. Also, the Italian did liposuction and placed breast implants. Everything would be fine, but Donna decided not to stop there. She enlarged her lips (and still does), and also abuses braces and laser resurfacing. Because of this, the skin on her face is like parchment that is stretched taut over her skull. Combined with big and shapeless lips and Donatella's favorite smoky eyes make-up, this creates such a creepy sight that the fashion designer is called the most terrible celebrity behind her back.

Melanie Griffith

Actress Melanie Griffith's relationship with plastic surgery also switched to “you” a long time ago: in her 65 years, she performed, according to various estimates, from 10 to 15 operations (not counting the standard braces and beauty injections). There was a time when her passion for plastic surgery was more like a mania, and the star does not deny this. The peak of the procedures came at the age of 40+: Melanie wanted to match her husband Antonio Banderas, and the tabloid press wrote that she looked much older.

Melanie did rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, a contour lift and lip augmentation, removed Bish's lumps, regularly injected Botox and abused lifting. Between 2001 and 2008, journalists joked that she knew the phone numbers of all Hollywood plastic surgeons by heart. Melanie's face became unrecognizable, the contours swam and "distorted", but this gave her a reason to go for plastic surgery again and again. Until in 2009, all this plastic bacchanalia was stopped by skin cancer. After the diagnosis (many believe that countless operations became the cause of the disease), Antonio Banderas forbade his wife to resort to plastic surgery. Melanie says that this conversation was a turning point in her life, and she never went under the knife again.
