Very often the topic is raised in conversations about the problem of communication between fathers and children. Relations between generations are different, something to advise or something to be decided only on a specific situation. Today, the article is dedicated to children who perceive the care of their parents as something negative. They think that mom and dad get them, they want more freedom, they want not to be touched. Here is the story of a boy who also thought so.
“Tired, how tired they are... Constantly making me do something, constantly asking for something, how did they get me!” The boy was doing his homework, and was very angry. Mom again scolded him for something, no, not in a rude manner, but calmly, she talked like with a little one, and he is already 10, he is an adult. It was somehow insulting that they treat him like a baby, then the boy took it and simply wrote a note to his parents: “Leave me alone already.” He honestly put the note into the hands of dad, and went to bed.
In the morning, the parents were gone when the boy woke up. He went to the bathroom to wash up, and then went to the kitchen to have breakfast. There were no dirty dishes in the sink, only one of his dirty dishes from last night's dinner. The boy grunted displeasedly and with surprise, and reached into the refrigerator for breakfast. But there, as before, there was no breakfast for him, and the boy had to fry his own eggs.
As usual, there was no money for a school lunch on the table. And the button that had come off yesterday from the school shirt was still lying where the boy had put it. On the shelf for him were clean underpants and socks, as they always were. It was somehow strange, as if the parents had disappeared somewhere at night. It was as if the boy's dream came true: he was left alone, he was left ...
The boy got ready and went to school, when he returned, his parents were not at home. He was even frightened, did not know what to think, but did not call. An hour later, the parents returned, it turns out that they went to the cinema after work, without their son. Mom quickly prepared a delicious dinner, put dad and herself, leaving a part for the boy in the pan. The parents were not silent, did not ignore the child, but no one even asked him about what grades he received today, how he was doing with his classmates, and how much he was asked. Nobody told him to put on slippers, though the boy put them on himself, quickly realizing that the floors were cold.
The parents were watching a TV show and the boy sat next to them. Mom and dad did not drive their son away, politely answered him if he asked something, but the parents discussed the transfer exclusively among themselves. They just left him behind, as he asked.
The boy felt somehow nasty at heart, he put on a jacket, boots, and went out into the street. It turned out that walking when it is dark and there are no peers is rather boring. Moreover, the parents didn’t even say a word after him, which means they didn’t forbid him, and this is doubly uninteresting. The boy is back.
He went into his room, but his bed was not made, and his parents were already in their room, merrily discussing something and getting ready for bed. The boy approached his mother and told her not to forget tomorrow morning to leave him money for lunch.
The next morning, everything was the same: the parents were at work, the boy’s unwashed plate was in the sink, there was no breakfast in the refrigerator, however, the money for lunch was on the table. It was empty and sad. Leaving for school, the boy wrote his parents a new note: "Excuse me, please don't leave me alone!"
Nothing incredible happened to this boy. He found clean clothes himself, he cooked his own breakfast, he did his homework, he even managed to sew a button on his shirt. He just matured, he was able to understand that his parents did not get him, his parents took care of him!
