How to learn to do everything?

It would seem that you are trying so hard, you are constantly doing something, you are constantly busy, and you should seem to have time for everything. But for some reason this does not work, or rather, it happens extremely rarely. The adult brain is so arranged that it cannot devote 1.5 hours to the same thing. He starts to get tired even earlier, and performance drops. And, after two hours have already passed, you (and I, and everyone else) begin to notice that you are wildly tired, and the work is still too much, and you don’t have time to do anything!

How to learn to do everything?

This is especially noticeable to those who have planned to redo a lot of household chores. Yes, housewives get very tired and do not have time to do anything. And many men cannot understand how this can be, because at home there is a calm atmosphere, the whole day is ahead, but for some reason the wives have not done one thing or the other. Office workers have a similar problem, it is difficult to complete long monotonous work without periodic breaks. And taxi drivers get tired with their round-the-clock schedule, and kindergarten teachers, and big bosses, and loaders, and mothers on maternity leave. Absolutely all of us are sorely lacking time, not enough hours in the day!

What then to do?

Well, in fact, there is nothing complicated, and you can solve your problem.

First, you need to break your day into parts. As you already understood in time, this should take no more than two hours. That is, for 1.5 hours you are doing some business, for half an hour you are legally resting. And at the same time, you must switch completely, otherwise your brain may confuse your vacation with some other work. Look, if you work at a computer, and then chat with someone as a rest, the brain will not be able to understand at all where the work was and where the rest is. You need to switch to something else. Go drink coffee, for example, lie down if you are at home, maybe do a light workout, etc.

Secondly, you should not be of the opinion that if you are not working, then you are resting. That is, if on your legal days off, you continue to sit at your computer, not working, but climbing the social network, your body will get even more tired. Or you have a day off, and you decide to dedicate this day to general cleaning. Is this a vacation? After a weekend like this, we need another weekend!

Thirdly, do not strive to do everything at once, otherwise you will definitely not have time to do anything. There are people who try to do everything as quickly as possible so that they have more free time, but in the end they don’t finish anything at all, they get angry and get very tired.

Fourth, write down your plan for the day, so you can switch faster and get a lot more done. And to begin with, write down your typical day, what you do, what you work on, where you go, etc., so you can determine what your precious time is spent on. For example, write how much time you spend on your sleep, eating, personal needs, shopping, work, etc.

All your "body movements" should fit into these 6 points:

  • your main job.
  • The things you can't do without are time to bathe and toilet, eat, shop for groceries, and sleep.
  • “Doing Nothing” – browsing the social network, waiting for a taxi / bus, commuting to and from work.
  • Routine: household chores and responsibilities, this can also include, for example, viewing e-mail.
  • What is pleasant for you: some interesting activities, meetings with friends, hobbies.
  • Education: various courses, trainings and more.

This is how you will be able to understand what you are spending your time on and will be able to adjust your schedule so that you can finally keep up with everything! Good luck to you!
