School holidays in the spring will start as scheduled / istockphoto.com
The vacation schedule for the 2022 academic year was published by the Ministry of Education in January. According to this schedule, spring school break should start on Monday, March 28 and end on Sunday April 3. These are recommended dates that schools can change at their discretion. The main condition: that in total, all vacations throughout the year should not exceed 30 days (not counting summer holidays).
However, usually schools adhere to the schedule recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science. The exception was the lockdown the year before and last, when educational institutions were closed for quarantine without switching to remote work. Now distance learning has been established, and even in the conditions of the red zone, the educational process is not interrupted. And this means that there is no practical sense in shifting or extending school holidays.
By the way, in March, Ukrainian schoolchildren are waiting for another mini-vacation, which will last from 5 to 8 March. The fact is that International Women's Day falls on a Tuesday this year. In order not to "break" the weekend, the government moves the working day on March 7 to Saturday, March 12. So not only schoolchildren, but all Ukrainians will “get” four days of rest.

Holidays are always a joy for schoolchildren and a headache for parents. The question of what to do with the child begins to torment moms and dads long before the end of the quarter. It’s good if you have the opportunity to take a vacation for these dates, because the end of March is a great time to travel and travel.
For example, you can profitably relax in Egypt. The high season (and hence high prices) falls here in April and May, but in March you can easily find budget deals. On average, 7 days for three with a flight to a 4 * hotel costs from 22 to 26 thousand rubles. UAH The only thing is that tour operators advise booking tours in advance, because vacations are, in fact, peak dates. Closer to March, there will simply be no places in the resorts.
V Turkey in March it will still be quite cold, and besides, it often rains here at this time. So this country is not suitable for spring break. If you want a relatively inexpensive beach holiday, you should take a closer look at Arab Emirates: in March, truly heavenly weather reigns here, there is no heat and rain, but at the same time the sea is already warmed up to 22-24 degrees. True, tours to the UAE are more expensive than to Egypt: a week for three will cost 45 thousand rubles. UAH (subject to early booking). But it is still cheaper than Sri Lanka (from 70 thousand rubles). UAH) or Dominican Republic (95 thousand rubles) UAH).
With children you can go on a trip to Europe / istockphoto.com
An alternative to a beach holiday can be excursions. tours to Europe. At the end of March, in most European countries, the weather is already dry and warm, which means that you can take a long and exciting walk with your child. In addition, from the beginning of February, Europe introduces new conditions for tourist trips: now tourists will be allowed to enter on the basis of "individual sanitary status".
Simply put, to travel to the EU, you will need vaccination (two vaccinations with a statute of limitations of at least 14 and no more than 270 days) and a negative PCR test (no later than 72 hours before crossing the border). Based on this, you will be allowed into any country, even if the epidemiological situation in Ukraine is sad. True, keep in mind that these rules apply to children from 12 years old - that is, according to EU requirements, such a child must be vaccinated.
Which European country to choose for travel is up to you. It all depends, first of all, on the budget, and secondly, on the age of the child. With children under 12 years old, experienced tourists are not advised to go on bus tours that cover trips to several cities. A long road in an uncomfortable sitting position and a constant change of scenery will tire the child greatly, and he will not enjoy the journey. It is much better to go to one city and spend a few days exploring it. A list of "kids friendly" cities in Europe and their main children's attractions can be viewed here.
