Doctor with 24 years of experience explains how stress hormones leave our body
There is more stress in my life than I would like.
I have a very difficult job, every day I have to make serious decisions regarding patients. And, of course, nerves are often added at home, because I am already at that wonderful age when I don’t know who to expect trouble from earlier - from children or from elderly parents.
What to do?
Two ways to deal with stress
Stress hormones leave our bodies in two ways. - with tears or through muscle activity.
"Cry - feel better" - in fact, a very wise formulation that has a scientific justification.
But the best stress reliever is physical activity. Figuratively speaking, working muscles, like an organic shredder, let our troubles pass through them and process them into energy.
No wonder a person, when he is nervous, he walks and smokes. Smoking, of course, is not necessary, but walking is useful.
A couple of years ago I had a wild stress and, in order not to go crazy, I got up and went. And she walked so much that she returned back by taxi, since there was no way to return on her own feet.
Physical activity helps a lot.
The most effective exercises for stress
Stressed - sit down. This simple exercise loads the largest muscles in the body, the effect will be very fast.
Still good do push-ups: straighten the chest, return to normal posture. This is very useful from the point of view of psychosomatics.
If you preferred walk, then try to increase your step, specifically strain some muscles, step on your heels, then on your toes. All of this is affordable exercise.
And one more thing: stress can be interrupted, drinking some water.
The intake of water in the body interrupts the synthesis of the main stress hormones: adrenocorticotropic hormone and cortisol.
Of course, the synthesis will continue after some time, since the stressful situation will not pass so quickly.
But if you reinforce the intake of water with exercises, then the consequences of the hassle will disappear faster.
