For seven years of marriage, Masha was in the village with her husband's relatives only a few times. And this is not because she is from the city, but her husband is from the village, and she is fine with this. It's just that any visit of a woman there turned into a real hard labor for her.
Masha met Arthur while still studying at the institute, real feelings flared up between them. The girl was not embarrassed that the guy from the village, on the contrary, he was much more serious and responsible than the city guys. After graduation, they immediately got married. The mother-in-law offered to celebrate the wedding in the village, but Masha and Arthur had other plans. On this occasion, my husband's mother did not fight in hysterics, but expressed her displeasure. The first time Masha came to the village after the wedding, on her mother-in-law's birthday.
The festive celebration fell on Saturday, but the mother-in-law asked the children to come on Friday. Immediately after work, terribly tired, they trudged on the train to their husband's parents. Masha dreamed of coming and going to bed, but she did not expect a surprise.
The mother-in-law from the doorway gave assignments for both Masha and Arthur. Therefore, my friend went to the kitchen to cut snacks and salads with her sister-in-law, and my husband went to help his father.
Masha went to sleep in the morning, but she does not remember the birthday of her second mother in detail. Yes, where there, there was no strength, I could not understand almost anything. Then there were a couple of trips, but most of all Masha remembered the celebration of the last New Year.
Masha and Arthur were able to arrive only on the morning of 31, because they were working. So they were released on the last day of the year, and it was also a working day. The mother-in-law from the doorway began to grumble that, they say, things were up to the throat, and they arrived so late. She could have started doing something herself, but no, she was expecting children. The husband and father went to buy groceries according to the list, Masha and her mother-in-law went to clean up and cook. But the mother-in-law did nothing at all. All the salads were cut by Masha, and the mother-in-law called her friends, then someone came to visit her, with one she would crackle, with another. At lunchtime, my sister-in-law arrived with her husband, and the matter immediately went much faster.
Masha did not see her husband again after he had brought food, and spent the rest of the day in the kitchen. I only managed to rinse myself in front of the table and change my clothes. And the husband somewhere was already pretty drunk. In general, Masha and her sister-in-law served the guests who arrived all New Year's Eve, and the rest ate and drank happily. Masha saw her husband so drunk for the first time. Everyone went to bed in the morning, and her hubby went out to talk to someone, and disappeared until 10 in the morning. But he promised on January 1 to go sledding and a bathhouse. Instead, Masha, as a sister of mercy, was cleaning the battlefield and rescuing the "fallen" soldiers. And so it went on for almost a week!
Wow New Years holidays! And it is not surprising why this year Masha refused to go to the village. Although her husband persuaded her, he promised that this time everything would be different. But no, Masha did not give up. Let them cook and eat there themselves, but she did not subscribe to it! It's better to fall asleep before the chimes, and then go to a cafe, than wait all year for New Year's weekend, and then, like last time, plow until the fifth.
Now her husband is offended, but she does not know how to put up with him.
