Hello my beauties!

Let's talk today about the most relevant - about morning puffiness, why it appears and how to quickly get rid of it. It is inevitable during the New Year holidays. Perhaps you do not limit yourself to one day of New Year's celebration and want to look as fresh and beautiful as on the evening of December 31st.

Remaining beauties after New Year's Eve: how to get rid of morning puffiness quickly (and why it appears)

By the way, in the West, swelling of the face is cutely called "puffy face" :-) And the problem of swelling is often aesthetic, not medical.

Why does our face swell?

Because man is made up mostly of water. And more than half of all fluids are inside cells, the rest is in the intercellular space. When the fluid content of honey by the cells increases, edema is formed.

Why is edema inevitable on New Year's Eve?

Even on other days, the swelling of the face will provide us with sleep. It's simple: when we are active, we are in an upright position (we stand, we walk, we run), due to gravity, the intercellular fluid migrates to the legs. But when we sleep, we are in a horizontal position, and the intercellular fluid moves from the legs throughout the body.

Excess intercellular fluid migrates to our beautiful face if we sleep on our side or on our stomach. Therefore, it is recommended to sleep on your back, but for many it will be difficult to do this on New Year's Eve: some of you will definitely move (the riot of the pancreas is reflected by pain just in the lumbar region), and someone will drink too much.

The festive table will be rich in food containing a lot of salt. This will help the body retain water stronger and longer. Moreover, alcohol, which serves as a diuretic: it perfectly dehydrates our body (that's why those who have gone through, in the morning "dry"). And the body in this difficult battle will keep the remaining water with all its might.

Combine these reasons together and you will understand why puffiness is inevitable.

Oh yes! Still, God forbid you forget to wash off your makeup before going to bed - then you will get skin irritation, which will also be accompanied by swelling.

I will not list all the reasons for puffiness. We are now considering this aesthetic ailment only within the framework of the New Year holidays.

What to do? How to quickly get rid of puffiness?

1. Contrast washing (or better - a shower): all this will accelerate blood microcirculation and enhance intercellular exchange, where intercellular fluid is required.

2. Take an Epsom or Himalayan Salt Bath: Epsom salts are rich in magnesium, a bonus that will help you get rid of the dire effects of a hefty Chablis tasting.

3. If you went too far with prosecco - drink as much water as possible: let the body understand that it makes no sense for it to retain more water because of the boorish visit of ethyl alcohol to visit it.

4. I don't believe in patches, there are already good and inexpensive serums that will save you from puffiness. Be sure to buy a caffeinated hyaluronic acid serum.

Caffeine is an excellent component, it penetrates deeply into the skin (it is also used as a conductor of other active substances), will help tone the lymphatic vessels and remove excess fluid from the tissue. I have this magic wand from Art & Fact, you can find any caffeinated eye cream in the composition.

5. If you don't have caffeinated whey on hand, then brew two green tea bags, then squeeze them out and refrigerate. Apply to eyes, let stand 10 minutes and you can shoot. Green tea contains a lot of caffeine.

6. Use a cloth mask. They cost around 100 rubles in supermarkets, and they are often given as a gift when buying cosmetics. The masks will nourish the skin well, and you will look as if you have returned from the seas and are ready to continue to celebrate to the fullest!

Have fun, don't overeat and stay beautiful!

Happy New Year to you, my dear readers!

And thanks for your thumbs up and subscriptions :-)
