How the amount of alimony will increase in 2022 (table)

The issue of paying alimony in Ukraine is quite painful. Far from every man is ready to voluntarily give money to his ex-wife for the maintenance of a common child. Fathers are not more inventive than anything else in order to avoid "duty". For example, they leave their official job and settle for a “black” salary without registration. However, in our country there is an amount that even an unemployed person must pay for a child: this is the minimum guaranteed amount of alimony. It will increase in the new year. Of course, the minimum amount of alimony in Ukraine is not all that good. You can buy for it, with a very strong desire, only a few packs of diapers and a couple of packs of baby food. Nevertheless, this is the guaranteed amount that every mother should receive from her ex-husband. It doesn't matter under what conditions he works, whether he receives unemployment benefits or plays the guitar in the subway passage.

This amount is tied to the minimum subsistence level for a child and today amounts to at least 50% of this indicator. Therefore, the minimum amount of alimony increases in direct proportion to the increase in the cost of living. In the new year, it will change twice: from July 1 and December 1, 2022.

In accordance with this, the minimum guaranteed amount of alimony will also change twice. Please note that the mother receives this amount for each child whose father is an ex-husband.

If your ex-spouse officially works and receives a "white" salary (even the minimum), then according to the law, he must give you as alimony more than the guaranteed minimum. For one child, you need to transfer at least 25% of the monthly income, for two - 33% of the income, if there are three children - then 50% of the income. At the same time, there is a maximum amount that can be collected in this case: it should not exceed 10 living wages per child.
