It will help, but not with shock. Shock, brothers - this is such a thing when blood does not flow through the blood vessels, and our body does not have enough oxygen. The body from this very quickly begins to die. If this happened to you, then you would not be able to mix yourself sweet tea. So it's more about acute stress.
Well, that is, when life constantly hits you, then you experience chronic stress. It is unhealthy and often causes people to eat junk food. Including sweets. This is how our body reacts to stress. He strives to refuel with high-calorie foods. Seizing stress. It is harmful.
And then there is acute stress. This is when a car almost ran over you, and then you shake for several hours and grab your heart. Adrenaline, all the cases. This type of stress often inhibits appetite in people. But if you eat something sweet, it becomes easier. Because sugar very quickly relieves most of the stress. Including acute stress with the car.
Interestingly, we still haven't figured out in detail how sugar helps. Clearly, this works in different ways. First, our brain receives sweets as a reward, and something is activated inside the head that suppresses the manifestations of stress. Then hormones from the glucose absorbed in the intestine are connected, and this is also beneficial.
It turns out that regularly eating all kinds of troubles with chocolate would be unhealthy, but drinking a can of sweet soda after miraculously escaping death in an accident would be quite logical.
Usually 25-30 grams of sugar is enough for this business. This is about two level tablespoons. Or that same can of soda.
Have you ever had such a thing? Somehow it never occurred to me to drink sweets after the fires or the sight of puddles of blood. I'll have to try.
