Coffee is famous for its stimulating action. But every time there is someone who begins to be indignant and declares that he personally falls asleep from coffee.
I confirm. This happens.
This miracle usually happens to people who regularly consume coffee. The point is, caffeine is similar to one of our own internal chemicals that causes drowsiness. Caffeine enters our brain, takes the place of a drowsy chemical and prevents it from lulling us to sleep.
But the body is not a fool. He does not want to work, but wants to sleep (and he can be understood). So the body, every day receiving a portion of delicious coffee in the brain, learns to increase the concentration of the drowsy chemical. A war breaks out between caffeine and sleeping pills. Usually, caffeine is slowly losing, and you and I, dear comrades, in order to continue to live better and more fun, have to increase our dose of coffee. This is a common thing for any addiction.
Caffeine can be seen as a toxin, but people learn to digest large amounts of it. This could have continued for a long time if the mother-liver had not come to the aid of the brain. Remember her? She's there inside us takes care of everyone. So the liver-mother also learns, adapts, trains and very soon develops a fantastic ability to neutralize caffeine even on the way.
Now appreciate the drama of the situation. As a result of caffeine abuse, our internal drowsy chemical is produced in the brain on an industrial scale.
