Today in our special project "Super-grandmother" a new heroine is Irina Bublik from Lviv. She is 54 years old, she is a grandmother, she has two grandchildren and is a professional pole dancer.
Daughter led to the pole
It all started 9 years ago. Then Irina's daughter for the first time brought her to half-dance classes. It took five years to study, and then the studio offered to become a coach. Irina says that her example motivates many people. Women think: "Since she was able to tame the pylon at that age, then I will succeed." “Now there are no older students among my students,” says the dancer. - Somehow an older woman came, but she was not inspired. In pole dancing, it is important to be able to endure, because at first, many exercises must be performed through pain. There is a heavy load on all muscle groups. After my first lessons, I could not take a cup of coffee normally: my hands were shaking. "
But it's worth it, I'm sure Irina. Before pole practice, she had tried many sports, and none of them suited her. For example, Pilates, according to Irina, is too static for her, her soul and body ask for active movement. Exercising on simulators in the gym did not suit the fact that there is no variety.
“The whole progress is that you just add weight. And in pole dancing every day you can try new elements, constantly develop, so it is never boring here ”,- Irina explains.
It is hard to believe that Irina Bublik first sat on a split at 50 / Facebook Irina Bublik
First split - at 50
Irina Bublik had a sports base: she is a master of sports in athletics. When you find out about this, you immediately think: "This is why we managed to conquer the pylon." But before half-dance, there was an almost 20-year hiatus in sports. And athletics does not develop to the proper extent the flexibility and strength in the hands, which are needed for pole dancing. I had to swing my arms almost from scratch and work on stretching. Only at the age of 50, Irina first sat on a twine. So, if you feel like Pinocchio and for this reason refuse to try pole dancing, drive your doubts away. Irina's experience shows that nothing is impossible for a person who wants something.
Also for half-dance you need a strong and flexible back. “It cannot be stretched without pumping. Therefore, we work in the classroom in these two directions, ”says Irina. By the way, some of her students note that thanks to half-dance, the lower back ceased to bother them.

Dinner closer to midnight
Irina is also engaged in aerial acrobatics - she teaches children on aerial canvases. Therefore, her every day is scheduled every minute, she conducts 8-9 workouts every day. With such a load, there is not enough time for any additional activities.
"Sometimes I don't even have time to dine",- Irina admits.
He has breakfast in the morning and dines at 11 pm when he returns from training. Due to the high physical exertion, such a late meal does not affect her figure. But Irina says that if her weight grows to critical for her 60 kg, then she can refuse dinner for several days. And it instantly helps to dump the excess. She does not have any food taboos. The only thing, because of an allergy to sweets, I have to practically not give up. “Otherwise I would eat in unlimited quantities,” she smiles.

Sports instead of cream
Sports activities allow not only to eat everything, but also to maintain youthful skin without much effort. Irina admits that she practically does not use creams and other skin care products.
“Due to physical exertion, the body has an excellent blood supply, active metabolic processes, therefore the skin receives a sufficient amount of nutrients and is toned, it becomes more elastic ",- says the dancer.
By the way, the improvement of the skin condition is also noted by the students of Irina. Moreover, as she assures, not only the appearance is changing, but also the internal state. “Self-confidence appears, self-esteem rises. Now I like absolutely everything about myself, and half-dance gave me that, ”she admits.
Today Irina speaks about her occupation with confidence. But it was not always so. When I just started pole dancing, I didn't tell anyone close to me about it. It opened only when I already became a coach. It is recognized that the 14-year-old grandson is very proud of his young and active grandmother, the daughter constantly posts about her on social networks. Periodically comes to class. “But she has her own business, so there is little free time,” says Irina. The granddaughter is also growing up, she is now four and a half years old. And, perhaps, in the near future, she will also dance on the pole with her mother and grandmother.
