The All-Ukrainian Union of Paramedics for Emergency Medicine has singled out the most dangerous challenges from TikTok. Participation in them can lead to serious injury or even death.
TikTok is one of the most popular social networks among young people today. Unfortunately, in addition to useful and entertaining content, there are many very dangerous challenges out there. We have already written about how a teenager died in Ukraine, breathing in isobutane for a TikTok video. And in the UK, they could barely save the boy who took part in the challenge and swallowed piercing magnets. And also children with might and main swallow household chemicals. for the sake of becoming a cool Tiktoker.
But this is not a complete list of dangerous challenges, or, as they are commonly called, trends in this social network. The All-Ukrainian Union of Paramedics for Emergency Medicine has identified the TOP-5 of the most dangerous of them.
1. Run or Die game
Children run across the road for sports right in front of the "nose" of the car. Adrenaline and the desire to hype prevail over common sense and the instinct for self-preservation. Someone manages to slip through, but someone does not and falls right under the wheels of a car, which simply does not have time to brake. Alas, you will not get off with a slight fright. Such extreme tiktokers will face either severe injuries, which can lead to lifelong disability, or death.
2. "Stone down"
This "game" provides for a jump from the window to the song of LSP. Because of this challenge, 8 children have died in Ukraine today and more than 40 in foreign countries. The song was removed from the rotations, but the trend is gaining momentum. The teenagers started jumping out of the window not alone, but in pairs. The result of such a "flight" is one - death.

3. "Squid game"
Challengers mimic the survival games for which Netflix's most popular TV series is famous. There are already known cases of injury from such games. In addition, participation in the "Squid Game" presupposes imitation of death, and this significantly undermines the unformed psyche of children.
4. "Dog's buzz"
Perhaps this is one of the oldest dangerous games. It was "played" already in the 70s-80s of the last century. Only then all this was not filmed and posted on TikTok. The point is to cut off the oxygen supply to the brain in order to cause short-term loss of consciousness and euphoria. Some adolescents become addicted to these intense sensations. According to doctors, "Dog's High" may lead to the development of alcohol or drug addiction in the future. But some adherents of such entertainment may not have it, because they simply do not survive as a result of asphyxiation.
5. Undercut
In this game, children knock their companion's legs while jumping, and he falls on his back, hitting his head hard. Consequences - head injuries, possible loss of consciousness, hemorrhage and death.
How to protect children?
Tell them about the dangers of such fun. Show photos, videos that show the possible consequences. Because children are children, and they often simply do not realize what such challenges can be dangerous. Alas, some of them, even knowing about the potential danger, still take part in them - so as not to seem weak or for the sake of adrenaline and euphoria. Teach your child how to provide first aid if something happens. So that he does not run away in panic when something goes wrong, but knows how to help. And, of course, you need to know what the child does in his free time and what he does on social networks.
