To get a Covid passport, a person needs to go through full course of vaccination against coronavirus. Today it is two vaccines plus 14 days of "quarantine" after the last vaccination. If these conditions are met, it will be easier to obtain a vaccination certificate than to generate an account statement from a client bank.

  1. Download the application "Diya" on the smartphone, wait for the update
  2. In the updated version, find the section "Services"
  3. Select in the list of services the column "COVID-certificate"
  4. Form an application for the transfer of data from the ESPZ (Electronic Health System) to "Diyu"
  5. Sign the application with your electronic signature (“Diya. Signature "is generated directly in the application)
  6. Click "Get Certificate"

After that, the vaccination passport will appear in your smartphone in two versions. The first one is for internal use, it will have less medical information, your photo and QR code that can be scanned from any device to verify authenticity certificate. The second document is in an international format. It will be in English, with the exact name of the drug, the batch and the number of the vaccines given to you. This certificate will need to be shown when traveling abroad, for many countries it will replace the mandatory PCR test.

The preliminary period of validity of vaccination certificates is 180 days from the date of its generation. This is not a whim of the Ministry of Digital Science, but international norms that are adopted in most countries of the world. It is not yet clear whether humans should be given a third, booster dose of the vaccine. As soon as WHO comes to some definite opinion on this, the validity of the certificates may be extended.

Wet-stamped paper certificates of your family doctor can be used like a digital document, but only domestically. After the European Union recognized our electronic vaccination passports, they will not accept a "piece of paper" without a QR code and detailed information about the vaccine at airports.

The Ministry of Health said that the Covid passport will be available to those people who have been vaccinated with one of the five vaccines approved by WHO for use in an emergency:

  • AstraZeneca (including Covishield, SKBio)
  • Comirnaty / Pfizer-BioNTech
  • SpikeVax / Moderna
  • CoronaVac / Sinovac-Biotech,
  • Janssen (Johnson & Johnson)
