The study involved 26 people between the ages of 55 to 58 years. Subjects were given the task to decide who should have to use memory. In the first part of the experiment, participants sat motionless for half an hour, and then passed the test. In the second part of the study, they first 30 minutes pedaled on a stationary bike, and then passed the tests. In both cases, the MRI scanned the brains of participants in the experiment.
