At the end of June 2021, the workplace announced that a law would come into force, which states that those who who does not get vaccinated against the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 within a month will be removed from work.
It so happened that my work belongs to the category of those who are vaccinated without fail, but of course voluntarily. That is, you do not put the vaccine and you are suspended from work, until further orders that concern non-vaccinated citizens. Got drilled - work.
In general, I am calm about vaccinations, but I have a hard time tolerating them. And, of course, I was embarrassed by the fact that the vaccine has not been fully studied and there are many questions to it that even doctors cannot answer intelligibly. All questions are answered with stereotyped answers, which end with even bigger questions.
As a result, I had to do an optional procedure.
I went for the vaccination without any fear, I am such a person, I do not think about the bad, especially when there is no other choice. Still, calmness and good mood, in a hopeless situation is more healthy than panic and hysteria.
I was vaccinated in a regular clinic. It was not easy to sign up, the first free window was only after 6 days. But, after a couple of hours of going to public services, I was lucky, apparently someone refused and I managed to sign up for the next evening.
Arriving at the appointed hour (19:00), I found 4 queues.
The first is to issue consent for the procedure, where you indicate your state of health and take responsibility for your life in case of any complications. Everything went quickly here.
The second - for examination by a therapist, there I had to wait 15 minutes, in the company of 6 people. The doctor did not conduct an examination, he just clarified whether something hurts and whether there is a temperature. After the answers, you are already sent for vaccination.
The third is vaccination itself. There were only 2 people in front of me.
The fourth is for the second vaccine.
The procedure itself.
The hand is treated with alcohol and the vaccine is injected into the upper part of the shoulder of the non-working arm (later I understood why). It hurt enough.
After the procedure.
The first few hours I felt great and I thought that I was carried away, but no. 8 hours later, in the morning, I woke up from a wild cold and chills, I could not get out of bed, and the hand where the injection was given did not rise. The muscles were twisting terribly and the temperature rose to 39.2.
The whole next day the condition was the same, the pills did not save much, I slept for almost a day. Waking up on the second day, I found a mark 35.5 on the thermometer. The weakness did not recede, but it became easier, the hand was already halfway up and it was possible to get out of bed, the muscle pain became much less.
On the third day, only increased sweating and weakness remained. On the fourth day, all symptoms disappeared without a trace.
At work, I warned in advance that if I felt unwell, I would stay at home, which I actually did. Since in such a state, except for sleeping, I did not want anything and could not "be able".
In general, I can say that if all this is not in vain, then you can survive this procedure and everything is not so bad. A day of poor health and that's it. All my friends have undergone the plus or minus vaccine just like me, the symptoms are the same. The time when the reaction began and ended is also about the same. Elderly relatives have no symptoms, almost all. A slight weakness and that's it.
I am not advocating vaccination or refusal to be vaccinated, it's up to you. In my opinion, this is an experiment and whether it will bear fruit, we will not know soon.
Well, then we will see how the second vaccination goes.
What symptoms did you experience after vaccination? And how did it go?
