There are only two main rules for a bachelorette party for a pregnant woman. First, it is usually held in last trimester pregnancy. However, taking into account the fact that the weather is very hot now, it is better not to delay with the party: the mother may not be comfortable with the demolition, and the holiday will not bring her joy. The optimal time for a baby shower in the summer is 8 months of pregnancy (no later than 6 weeks before the expected birth). During this period, the expectant mother is still quite active, but it is already clearly visible that the baby is about to be born.

One of the main attributes of the holiday is the “shower of gifts” that guests present to the expectant mother. It used to be customary to give hand-made things. Now the main requirement is the practicality and usefulness of gifts. No souvenirs, photo frames or figurines. WITH the appearance of a child in the house for these pleasant, but non-functional little things there is no extra place. Optimal purchases for pregnant women will be:
- clothes for newborn
- hygiene products (baby cosmetics, diaper set)
- bed linen and towels
- children's toys and books
- an album for memorable notes and a photo of the baby in the first year of life (the organizer must make sure that there is only one such gift)
- set for prints of hands and feet of a child

When buying gifts, it is important to take into account that in the last stages of pregnancy, many things for mothers and babies are often already bought by future parents. Therefore, it is not bad to find out in advance (from the heroine of the holiday herself, from her husband or parents) what she already has and what she has not yet bought. And if the expectant mother knows about the upcoming holiday, just ask her to make a list of the necessary or desired purchases.
