From the first episodes of the series My Mom, the viewer is shown Shula's abnormal love for Cengiz. A woman is ready to endure beatings, work at night, giving all the money to her roommate, and also endure his bullying, over her own daughter. And all so that he was there.
Shule covered Cengiz more than once and dragged him out of prison. She loved him like a madman, in the hope that someday she would find simple female happiness. But alas, even the birth of a son did not change Cengiz. Apart from himself, he did not see or love anyone.
By the end of the series, Shule began to remember her first husband more and more often. It was with him that she was happy.
Shule was happy to leave Cengiz, but he was not going to let her go. Who, then, will bring money into the house.
Because of Cengiz, Shule lost her job as a singer. And because of him, she was forced to entertain customers. But the last straw was the realization that Cengiz did not need her. He only wants money.

Shule, finding her daughter in such a state, asked her husband for help, but he calmly left, leaving her alone with her problems.
Already in the hospital, Shule saw her daughter lovingly look at Zeynep. Shule realized that she was no longer able to fight and decided to give her daughter Zeynep. For her peace and happiness.
Arriving home for documents, Shule ran into Cengiz. But the man was not ready to let go of Shule. Indeed, without her, he will lose not only money, but also the beautiful house in which he now lives.
Cengiz decided to knock all the nonsense out of Shule's head, but at that moment Guynul entered their house with a pistol in hand. The woman was ready to go back to prison, just to save her own child and granddaughter from this tyrant.
Cengiz easily knocked the pistol out of Guynul's hands and the weapon fell at Shula's feet. The woman, taking the weapon, first directed it at Guynul, and then at Cengiz.
Cengiz didn’t believe until the very last moment that Shule could fire. But she did it.
Shule could no longer live with Cengiz, and he would not let her leave.
Throughout the episode, I had a double feeling for Shula. On the one hand, she is selfish, thinking only about her own happiness, forgetting about the happiness and feelings of her own daughter. On the other hand, she is a woman who wanted to love and be loved.
Whatever it was, but by the end of the series, Shule, at the cost of Cengiz's life and her freedom, provided her children with a happy and calm future.
It is sad that in life, such stories do not always have such an end.
