Transplanting seedlings is stressful for plants, so you need to feed them immediately. First, you need to give the plants the opportunity to take root, and after 10 days, important manipulations can be carried out. The first feeding: 10 g of superphosphate and potassium sulfate each, 20 g of ammonium nitrate - for 10 liters of water. One seedling takes 0.5 liters of mortar.
You can change the mineral fertilizing with organics. Bird droppings 1:10 or mullein 1:10 - in order to saturate the earth with nitrogen, wood ash 1:10 is used for calcium saturation.
Another option is to use yeast. It is necessary to prepare a solution of 30 g of dry yeast, 2 liters of warm water and half a glass of sugar. The mixture must be fermented for three days, and then dissolved in 10 liters of water. But such feeding should not be overused, otherwise the soil will become acidic and poor.
How to "feed" cucumbers during flowering?
When buds begin to appear in cucumbers, they need to be fed with phosphorus and potassium. For 10 liters of water, 40 g of superphosphate and 30 g of potassium nitrate are taken, for 1 plant up to 1.5 liters of fertilizer are taken.
Next, the cucumbers are fed with bird droppings 1:20 or mullein 0.5: 20. One seedling takes about a liter of composition.
When the formation of ovaries occurs, feeding is done with ash - 0.5 kg per 10 liters of hot water. The solution is infused for 2 days, filtered, and used. You need to do this top dressing twice with a break of 10 days.
Effectively "feed" the cucumbers during this period with potassium permanganate and boric acid. For 10 liters of water, 10 g of manganese crystals and 5 g of boric are needed. And to attract pollinating insects to cucumbers, you can pour 50 g of sugar into the solution.
Fertilizing cucumbers for fruiting
It is necessary to influence the correct formation of cucumber fruits. A solution of nitrophoska 1 tbsp will help in this. l. for 10 liters of water. Another feeding option is herbal infusion. Any weeds, for example, clover, wormwood, nettle, are folded directly into the bucket, and poured with warm water for 10 days. This infusion is then decanted and diluted with water 1 to 5.
Instead of root feeding, in the event that the summer weather is cold (not higher than 12 degrees), the plants can be simply sprayed. This is done at the very beginning of flowering, at the beginning of fruiting and towards its end.
