Until a certain moment, it seemed to me that these are fairy tales that frighten naughty children and careless adults... until this happened to my close friend. To be more precise, with a friend of my mother, who is also the mother of my school friend. That is, they are close enough people whom we have known for many years and they would not lie to us.
So, one not the most beautiful day, my mother's friend was quietly walking home from the store. When she almost reached the entrance, she was stopped by two women with three children. A very small child was in the arms of one of them, two other children, about five years old, were just running under their feet. The women and children were clearly not Russian and asked how they could get to the clinic. My mother's friend explained everything to them in detail. They listened to her attentively and asked to help them, as their child was ill and they did not know what to do.
Everything that happened next, the woman remembers as if in a fog, she does not remember what they said to her and whether she answered something in response. Just some kind of dull ringing in my head, cotton wool and emptiness.
Later, already from the witnesses, my mother's friend found out that the five of them were heading towards the entrance, and the women were very animatedly saying something to her. She just walked in silence. No one could make out the conversations themselves. Either they were very far away, or they simply did not hear and did not understand the essence of the words.
Why no one came up and stopped them is hard to say. I think very few people thought that something was wrong. They are talking, but you never know what there may be. Everything looked peaceful and calm.
The woman woke up already in her apartment when she slammed the door behind her guests.
As soon as the gypsies disappeared from her eyes, she felt bad. Strongly dizzy, nauseated, and she slid down the wall to the floor.
How long she stayed in this state, she does not remember. Later it turned out that they worked in the apartment for about an hour and she sat on the floor for about 30 minutes.
When she came to, the first thing she did was go to the kitchen to drink some water, as her throat was dry. Her head gradually began to clear up and memories began to emerge as she opened the closet and took out the "stash" with the money she had accumulated for rainy money and gave it to the gypsies.
What they said or didn't say, she could not remember.
Then my mom's friend took out a jewelry box and poured it into the hand of one of the women. Moreover, she took off her earrings, a chain with a baptismal cross and a wedding ring, which she had worn for 40 years, and gave it all to another woman, with a child in her arms. Voluntarily.
After all that she remembered, she was seized with terror, then came shock and panic. When the numbness subsided, the woman called her husband, and then the police.
The police accepted the statement, but neatly hinted that usually such people are "invisible" and it is extremely rare to find them. And the saddest thing is that it is almost impossible to bring them to court as they are, as a rule, "without clan and tribe."
And they did not deceive. A year has passed, but these fraudsters have not been found, and apparently they will never be found. And the woman, of her own free will (or not on her own?) Gave strangers more than 100,000 rubles in cash and jewelry, for the same amount.
Quiet horror.
By the way, as the gypsies left the entrance, no one saw, they fell into the ground. Mystic.
How to protect yourself from such people?
First of all, the victims of the Roma are the "light-hearted" and insecure people. They may be depressed or in a state of deep grief and despair.
Gypsies, in turn, know how to figure out such a person in a crowd, and they feel them a mile away. It's in their blood. They take advantage of the weakness of people, subjugate them and force them to do what they want.
Hypnosis is used in many practices, and it is not necessarily psychiatry or psychology.
And among the gypsies, this form of fraud is passed down from generation to generation. They are taught this from the cradle and it is extremely difficult to resist it.
Therefore, dear ones, be vigilant and try to protect your weaker relatives from these dishonest people.
Gypsies, as a rule, do not walk alone, they walk in groups and these are necessarily women with children. Men don't do dirty work.
Teach your loved ones to bypass them, and not even stop nearby. And even more so not to enter into dialogue in order to avoid such sad consequences.
Don't listen to them, run and don't turn around!
