Hello to all readers of my channel! Lisa is in touch, and today I want to show you an interesting box of cosmetics from PUPA. Perhaps some of you will remember it.
In December, my mother-in-law passed away... The other day we were taking apart her things and found cosmetics. Some products interested me, I decided to show them to you. I will say this: my mother-in-law had a very good taste, my husband was all in her :-) And before, I agree, the cosmetics were very high quality and for centuries. I think I would split this topic into several parts, because there are enough cosmetics, and each of them has its own story.
This box is the very first thing that caught my eye. Agree, it's impossible to pass by. It resembles a small handbag in shape, with solid transparent plastic around the edges, and a silk pillow with an embossed logo in the middle.
I did not find information on the release and price of such a box on the Internet, simply because the name is not written on it. Well, Pupa released many similar kits and couldn't find a specific one. The mother-in-law received this box as a gift around 2012, that is, the set is almost 10 years old.
On the first level (floor) - 4 colors of eyeshadow and I assume two lip balms. The eyeshadows have medium pigmentation, they are a little dusty, but they look quite good even after so many years. The colors, of course, are not for an amateur and it is difficult to call them basic. And it is clear that their mother-in-law did not really like them either :-)
On the second floor there are 4 lipsticks and a bronzer, which many people mistake for powder. In fact, it is difficult to call them lipsticks, you cannot see them on the lips, except for one with a shimmer, so they can be safely called useless.
In the middle, not powder at all, but a real bronzer. Imagine a bronzer! In 2012, when even the current makeup artists did not hear everything about him.
The bronzer, I can tell you, is very good: silky texture, well pigmented, and also has a delicate shimmer.
I would use this box now and how relevant it is
Let me put it this way. If I had not worked in the beauty industry (and we are always given, sent for review, and there are a lot of cosmetics) and my own cosmetics would be at a minimum, then I would gladly use products from this caskets.
Shadows are now relevant, could be used in makeup. I really liked the pearl pink ones, I would love to add them to my cosmetic bag.
The bronzer is excellent, now it is important to give the face a tanning shade and it would be quite possible to use it too. Moreover, dry products in fact do not have an expiration date.
But lipsticks with such shades are useless. What now, what 9 years ago. I didn't understand why they were in the box at all. That my mother-in-law and my mother had such lipsticks remained almost intact.
There is no color as such in them, and it is not very convenient to type them with a brush every time.
One thing I can say for sure: Pupa is a very high quality cosmetics, even after almost 10 years.
