Hello to all readers of my channel!

Even now, in the 21st century, folk beauty recipes remain popular. Someone uses them because it is relatively budgetary, although such a statement is also questionable. Other girls are just principled adherents of everything natural and think that "chemistry" in cosmetics is harmful: parabens, from the word "alcohol" roll their eyes (although the products use natural fatty alcohols such as coconut).

First of all, let's not forget that natural ingredients are much more likely to cause allergies, so it is also not safe.

Hair oil and vinegar will ruin your hair: why am I against some folk remedies
The same harmless pharmacy chamomile causes allergies in many when it is used to even out the tone of the face. And in order to preserve the beneficial properties of chamomile, but to remove the risk of allergies, they use, as the people say, "chemistry" - azulene. Although this is just an extract from a pharmacy chamomile.

If you have been using natural ingredients in your personal care for a long time and there are no allergies - congratulations, this is great! But let's not forget the buildup effect, the same can happen with allergies.

Unlike organic cosmetics, manufacturers of "chemistry" take care of the owners of sensitive skin, which, when using natural cosmetics, can become covered with spots or inflammation (and scalp including).

And by the way, everyone's favorite hyaluron is synthetics, there is nothing natural in it. As with quality avocado products. Simply "chemistry" is synthetic components without "impurities" that can cause allergies. And also what will increase the shelf life of cosmetics: it can oxidize with prolonged contact with oxygen, plus the risk of fungus and other things.

Now for lovers of trendy hair dyeing, hair care based on natural recipes can be detrimental to hair color and quality. Rinsing with herbal decoctions can severely dry out dyed hair. And the work of some oils is completely exaggerated: not all oils moisturize, as many people think. Let's take everything in order.

Hair oils

Some oils (olive, sunflower, castor) when applied to hair, they create a lens effect, which is why they heat up more in the sun. Moisture evaporates from them, which leads to dry and brittle hair.

The most common use of hair oil is for hair loss. Castor oil is often used, applied to the hair / eyebrow / eyelash roots. When oil is applied to the scalp, it creates a film that can lead to blockage of the hair follicle orifices, which in turn leads to the formation of sebaceous plugs.

Sebaceous plugs continue to secrete sebum, and because of the formed film, it cannot come out. Sebum (sebum) accumulates, begins to put pressure on the vessels, disrupting the nutrition of the hair follicle, and all this will lead to the opposite result - hair loss and slowed down hair growth.

When washing off the oil, another not very pleasant surprise awaits you. It is very difficult to wash it, especially if the hair is thick. You start to rinse thoroughly and dry out your scalp and hair in general over and over again. All this does not in the best way affect the condition of the hair, they become dry and brittle, fall out even more from abundant washing.

Rinsing hair with vinegar

I heard about this method for a long time. And to be honest - she herself was engaged in such things, but it did not bring the desired result. On the contrary, the hair became dry, and my problem, like many, was in the dosage.

Yes, vinegar is not entirely bad for hair, but they also need to be able to use and correctly dispensed.

At the right dosage, vinegar normalizes the pH of the hair after alkaline shampoos, which are the majority. Due to the fact that vinegar restores the acid-base level, the hair becomes smoother and shinier. But the wrong dosage can "kill" your hair, and for dyed hair, it can wash out the pigment. Therefore, the manufacturers of cosmetic vinegar for hair took care of us, where the dosage is correctly calculated, after them there is no need to worry about the color of the pigment and the condition of the hair.

Kefir masks

The Internet is replete with recipes for masks with kefir, promising shine and active hair growth. Kefir is an acidic environment, after shampooing it restores the pH of the hair while giving shine to the hair. It can be said to work by analogy with vinegar.

In such masks, not everything is rosy either: the first is an unpleasant smell that will remain on the hair after washing. Second, kefir does not penetrate so deeply into the skin, but all because of the lack of conductors that are in the finished products.

Kefir masks can lighten hair, which will surprise brunettes.

Not all folk remedies are harmful, I told only about a few that can bring the opposite result to the desired.

Next time I'll tell you about excellent folk remedies that synthetic components will not surpass.
