No one will tell him to his face that he is lying or wrong, perhaps he thinks so. Perhaps it seems to him that everything is really so, or is he just embellishing?
In any case, almost no one can tell a person that he is a fool and does not see the reality of what is happening. Especially when a person sincerely and from the heart tells how great everything is with him.
People around think: no, well, this is ridiculous. Which one is wonderful? You live without water, your wife runs to a neighbor, and the children are out of hand! You constantly fix the car without getting out of it! Can't you see what is happening around you?
At first, such reasoning causes bewilderment, then anger and a desire to open a person's eyes. But attempts to somehow hint and explain that what he says is a lie, do not bring results. He is still confident that everything is wonderful and stubbornly stands his ground.
In this case, those around him have no choice but to laugh at him and condemn him. Not in the face, but with others, with those who see the same as they do.
Nobody likes to be lied to, and most people don't like braggarts and those who don't see the obvious.
