The S size and body proportions allow me to experiment with styles, prints and shades. Sometimes I deliberately break the harmony of the silhouette: I wear trendy a-silhouette clothes with voluminous shoulders or oversized models. And if in some cases the clothes help to lose a couple of kilograms without diets, in others it will definitely add something extra and instantly turn a miniature slender girl into a girl with forms. However, you will see for yourself now.
Two opposite styles of dresses
... make my figure completely unpredictable. Solid color, thanks to the correct length and emphasis on the waist, emphasizes proportions and slims. True, in my case, such a length asks for the rise of the foot at the expense of the heel - you need to visually lengthen the lower leg.
A shapeless leopard dress, on the contrary, makes the figure heavier, and flat shoes also land. Compared to myself in the next photo, here I look like I’ve lost my girdle and have eaten too much. Despite this clear exaggeration effect, I advocate for the rights of the leopard dress in my wardrobe. I do not strive for the ideal and I am happy to violate all proportions, clothes for me are primarily a tool of self-expression - here I rebel against the rules.
Color, print or fabric thickness: who is to blame and what to do?
In the photo on the left, I definitely look slimmer - and it's not just the magic of black. Increase in size, as a rule, is a free cut, a dense texture of the fabric and a large (or indistinct) print. My example on the right is a visual story of how you can gain significant weight with outerwear and wide trousers. The thicker the fabric, the visually larger the figure - this is what we see in the version on the right.
But I would not scold flared jeans - they should pay attention to the owners of wide shoulders and narrow pelvis. This cut will help bring the figure closer to the hourglass shape, however, it is better to choose a tight top.
I demand accents
I demonstrate what will happen if you go down from your heels to the ground and choose jeans that are not in height and not in shape (look at my photo on the right). There is a risk of spoiling the impression of the image as a whole. The fit of the jeans does not reach the high waistline, and the length, on the contrary, reaches its maximum. Because of this, the overall look looks too relaxed, I want to pull a belt over the jacket in order to somehow emphasize the proportions. The outfit on the left looks more advantageous due to the correct model of jeans, a not very voluminous top, and, as we can see, there is a belt here too.
Tights: against the rules
Under one of my articles, where I have already used these two photo examples, the commentator refused to believe that in the picture on the right in black tights I was also me.
This is a deliberately disastrous image - its failure in the excessive density of tights and the wrong shoes that cut the length of the legs. To immediately correct the misunderstanding, I put on transparent thin kapronki and white shoes.
It is very important to return to your own "factory settings", objectively assessing the parameters of the figure, and to choose clothes taking into account individual characteristics and size. Oversize does not always win, and M instead of L in some cases will not slim, as we would like, but only emphasize the shortcomings.
thankwhat have you read! I tried very hard and I hope you will be generous with the likes. This is the best reward. Come be friends with me inInstagram
