It has become fashionable to be environmentally friendly. All teach each other, distribute "useful" advice, write angry comments under articles about fur coats. You look at everyone like that and it becomes straightforwardly joyful, well, what good fellows, all for reasonable consumption, for ethics and for caring for the environment ...
But the joy ends quickly. One has only to leave the house.
At the entrance there are several huge bags of garbage, they just carried them out of their apartment and threw them. And let some woman Masha take it to the dumpster. Some do not bother at all, opened the window and threw a pile of rubbish right into the street.
Masks... they now lie like snow under your feet. You go and wonder, but really too lazy to bring to the urn!!! Do at least that! Well, no, we have no time for that, we have a mission - the ecology must be saved!
I believe that you have to start with yourself. Small steps lead to great things ...
Where will I start to become a little greener:
I will refuse plastic disposable tableware. Now there is a huge amount of eco dishes that look aesthetically pleasing and do not harm the environment.
For example, many coffee shops offer a discount on take-out coffee if you come with your reusable glass. I will buy myself a folding glass and will carry it with me, it does not take up much space, it looks stylish and it is much more pleasant to drink from it.
I'll start carrying reusable water bottles with me.
This will help maintain normal water balance in the body and will bring a small but benefit to the planet - even one plastic bottle that is not thrown away is already helping the environment.
I will replace disposable protective masks with reusable ones. You can wash them in a minute, but the benefits will last forever.
And I'll also go to the Earth Hour online broadcast. Tomorrow, March 27 at 19:30 Moscow time, eco-stream from Yandex. Market. Experts will tell you how each of us can help the environment with simple and everyday things.
Let's start with ourselves and become a little more conscious and ethical.
Sincerely, Oksana
