Harvard scientists conducted a study that examined the effectiveness of communication between teachers and students.
IN experiment, organized by scientists from the University of North Carolina and Harvard University, took as a basis 460 different situations of the first contact of communication between strangers.
Not always students and teachers.
One hundred people met in person, while others spoke via video link for 15 minutes.
Upon completion of the communication session, all participants in the experiment had to honestly say how much they liked or disliked the interlocutor.
The findings from the survey helped scientists shape the image of the ideal teacher. It turned out that young teachers, who, nevertheless, do not tend to familiarity, evoke more confidence in children.If a person withdraws and hides behind the status of a respected teacher, then trust decreases.
At the first contact, it is important that the teacher knows something from the Universe of adolescents, for example, music, TV shows, films, jokes.
