On January 25, our ancestors did not initially celebrate and did not have fun, but remembered Saint Tatiana, because it was on that day that she was executed.The saint, according to legend, lived in Rome and did not marry, deciding to serve God. It is known that the girl helped the suffering, looked after the elderly and the sick. She suffered from the pagans during the next stage of the persecution of Christians in the city, she was tortured and then killed.
Saint Tatiana is considered the patroness of students, but this tradition is not so many years old.
On January 25, church services are held in honor of Tatiana, and students arrange noisy festivities and ask for good luck in their exams.As for traditions, they do not differ from the days of veneration of other saints - it is advisable to maintain a positive attitude, not to quarrel, not to conflict and spend the day in joy.
