“Fur coats with sandals? A "naked" dress with boots? How can you even wear it?! ”, - images of streetstylers from fashion weeks often accompany such comments. Indeed, many design ideas from the shows are fundamentally at odds with the realities of everyday life. Moreover, the bright representatives of the fashion industry "give fire", choosing outfits in order to stand out, be remembered, stun.
There are, of course, insights when crazy trends inspire fashionistas, and they manage to adapt them to life. The images turn out to be stylish, you want to "add them to the saved items" and repeat them. Which I, in general, did.
Skirt slip in winter
I like to combine different textures in one outfit, it always looks unusual. Pinterest and Instagram are full of beautiful winter pictures, on which fashionable "puzzles" converge: for example, a lingerie-style skirt becomes a harmonious pair of a rough sweater. I decided to try on these contrasting things and walk them in a light tingling frost.
My verdict: the sweater is warm, the skirt is cold.
I tried to put on warm tights under the skirt, but it only got worse - the thin fabric became electrified, and no antistatic agents could provide either first or second aid. Experiments of this kind I postponed until a warm spring.
What is good for a photo, then in real life - "not that coat"
There are things that aim to impress. There are such pieces in my wardrobe too. Take this canary-colored fur coat, which I put on a couple of times and realized that I had played enough!
Before going outside in this accent and characteristic fur coat, I need to carefully think over the details of the outfit and select companion items. Putting on the first pants that come to hand will not work: the image will look awkward and unfinished. Due to the difficulties in combinations, I chose for the winter a basic insulated coat made of eco-leather in a neutral color, which is suitable for everything and does not require troubles in care.
Bermuda
This image is impressive, but in terms of practicality, it is an outsider. I tried to wear a vest and Bermuda shorts in the summer, but, you know, the "climate control" did not cope. And who wears a sweater in the heat, even if it is sleeveless? By the way, in colder weather I was also uncomfortable in this outfit - my arms and legs were freezing. Yes, well her, this strange fashion with sandals!
If you put on a cotton shirt under the vest, and tight tights under the Bermuda shorts, and change into high boots, it will become much better and warmer :)
It seems not for the weather
Walking barefoot in winter is a strange idea. I don't understand this fashion. Moreover, tights are now in fashion: both colored, and printed, and fancy. They can become an accent in the image. And I sincerely sympathize with my collage neighbor.
Modern fashion opens up freedom of choice for us, but even in a democracy, talent and a sense of beauty are needed to harmoniously combine the incongruous, everyday and catwalk. I have yet to learn. And you?
