She began to notice that she had turned into a very modest woman. Not because I'm trying to look like a lady, but because I'm really afraid. I'm afraid to say “no” or, on the contrary, to say “yes”, I'm afraid that I will be misunderstood, I'm afraid to seem stupid. This annoys me very much, and I decided to work on myself, to overdo myself. So far, I'm only looking for ways to do this, but I read many stories in which indecision robs people of happiness. Here is one such story for you.

Sometimes our indecision robs us of our happiness

Cyril was returning home by train from another city. He was often on business trips for work, and it became a habit for him. Due to his busy schedule, he never had a life partner. And in general, lately he has met some strange women, empty, there was nothing to talk about with them, what can you say about building family happiness.

The train was moving fast, and its wheels pounded softly. Sergei stood in the vestibule and looked out the window, watching the landscape. Then he realized that he was tired and went to bed. There was silence in the carriage, everyone was already resting. Cyril made his way to his seat, and accidentally hit one passenger.

- I beg your pardon, I didn’t on purpose! - said Cyril.

The passenger hit by Kirill was a pretty young girl.

- Yes, it's okay, I still didn't sleep soundly. I can’t sleep normally on the train, I just doze, ”Alena said.

Kirill decided to talk to the girl:

- My name is Cyril.

- Alyona!

- Where are you going?

- Going home. I'm on vacation now.

- Are you a student?

- Yeah, third year.

- How I envy you. When I was a student, I also went to study in another city, and also traveled. Then I started to earn money, and spent all the money on travel. And I really enjoyed traveling on trains - new people, new acquaintances, so many impressions!

- Oh, but I, on the contrary, do not like it on the road, it makes me sick a lot.

- Well, this is because you do not drive much, get used to it. And everything will pass.

Cyril kept talking, and could not stop. He was interested in sharing stories from his youth, working moments, and Alena listened to him with such pleasure, and it seemed to her that she had known him all her life.

- Alena, where do you study?

- I am at the Faculty of History at the University. Have you not regretted choosing the profession of a doctor?

- I never regretted it. I help people. Look, we must be interfering with other passengers' sleep. Maybe let's go to the vestibule and talk there?

- Let's go, Kirill! - answered Alena.

The girl was so interested with Kirill, she felt some kind of attraction to him. She had never met such interesting people before. Although the man was 10 years older than her, this did not bother her a bit.

The couple stood in the vestibule for several hours, and managed to talk on all sorts of topics, from their favorite dishes to distant relatives. Alena liked Kirill more and more, and Kirill understood that he also really liked this girl. With her he was real, with her it was so calm, free and comfortable. But he could not believe what could interest such a young and beautiful girl. Alena kept expecting action from him, but he still could not decide on anything.

- Alena, let's go to bed, otherwise tomorrow we will leave early, - said Cyril.

- Yes, of course, Kirill, you need to rest a little, - Alena sighed.

Each lay down on his own shelf and pretended to be asleep. But in fact, neither Cyril nor Alena could fall asleep, but simply lay and thought how their acquaintance would end, and is there any hope that their meeting would not be the last.

Early in the morning, the train arrived at its destination. Kirill helped Alena carry the suitcase to the station, and it was time to say goodbye. Both looked into each other's eyes. Alena was still waiting for Kirill to ask her for a phone number, and he stood in complete indecision.

- Okay, Alena, I was pleased to chat with you! All the best, goodbye, - Kirill just turned around and left.

Alena stood in a stupor and looked after the man. And Kirill walked and scolded himself for his indecision. After all, it was she who prevented him from becoming happy, perhaps this wonderful young girl was his only and true love.

Only we ourselves decide our destiny. But sometimes, due to indecision, you can lose everything. What is it worth just trying, and even making a mistake, instead of not doing what you want, and then regretting your whole life because of your indecision?

Something needs to be changed!
