What things should not be passed on to younger children from older ones

The younger children in the family "inherit" toys, clothes and other things from the older ones. But not all of them are transferable.

From the point of view of economy, it is very convenient, when the youngest child appears, to get the boxes with thingsfrom which the elder grew up. However, some things are better to buy new, and not keep after the elder or accept as a gift from other families. Let's explain why.

Light things

Whatever one may say, spots appear on them over time, which cannot be removed with anything. To receive such things as a gift and wear them is rather unpleasant.

Footwear

Children grind down their shoes in different ways. Therefore, worn-out sandals or boots can harm the leg of the child to whom they were handed over.

Things made from natural fur and wool

If you intend to store them for several years, moths may grow in there.

Pacifiers and plastic bottles

The nipple lasts about 3 months. It darkens over time, and the material may crumble or stick together. Plastic bottles from constant use quickly deteriorate.

Mattress

A children's mattress suffers from many cataclysms: it gets wet, people jump on it. Usually there is not enough time to clean the mattress, dust mites and unpleasant odors start in it, and orthopedic properties come to naught over time. So it's definitely not worth keeping it for years.
