It would seem that children do not need to be taught to laugh - for them it constantly comes out by itself. However, this does not work with all babies. Some need a little nudge.
1. Laugh and encourage your child's jokes
The child may stop joking if he sees that the parents are not reacting to it. Or, instead of joking, start talking vulgarity and stupidity in order to somehow attract the attention of adults.
Pay attention to the child's jokes, praise the successful ones, laugh at his attempts to make you laugh.
2. Don't be afraid to sound funny
And teach your child that looking funny is not scary at all. Let him take an example from you that it's great to joke and laugh at himself.
3. Make up funny stories
Stimulate the child's imagination, invent funny and unusual stories together, make faces, draw funny illustrations.4. Limit toilet humor
All children go through this stage. Your task is not to encourage or develop the topic, and let your child joke like that only at home. And, of course, don't allow yourself to express yourself that way.
5. Show an example of a positive attitude
Teach your child by example to respond easily and humorously to small life difficulties. For example, accidentally pouring compote on yourself or getting dirty in a puddle is not scary and not critical, like, for example, a broken cup or a bad grade at school.
