In Ukraine, the dates of school autumn holidays due to the fact that local elections will be held in Ukraine on October 25.
According to the acting Minister of Education Sergei Shkarlet, the holidays may start earlier.
Note that traditionally children go on vacation at the end of October, the week of rest ends in early November.
But in 2020, the school schedule may change.
What we offer are recommendations. Schools in Ukraine have autonomy regarding the organization of the school process. We think that it would be advisable to postpone the holidays to an earlier date in order to calmly locate polling stations and election commissions in school premises.Students can go on vacation two days before the election and return to school 3 days after the election (approximately).
The ministry expects school administrations to heed this.
